Let’s all write in lower case like a bunch of faggots and make Simpsons references. That’s the height of comedy.

Literally, it doesn’t get nearly the respect it deserves. I probably have like 30d + on that game

imo this is how you attract at least a certain number of young people, offer legitimate opposition and ridicule for the old LibLabCon bonafides like the Iraq War, Conservatives can’t possibly follow you there

You fund the Home Office, which in turn gives power to dodgy charities and NGOs which you also somehow fund, which assist illegal migrants to enter Britain who you will also fund - probably for the rest of their lives. It’s a huge vicious circle, and the charity/NGO industrial complex is just one part of it.
From today, charities can apply to sponsor refugees through new, capped Named Community Sponsorship and Refugee study safe and legal routes. Sponsors will provide accommodation, integration support and help finding work. First arrivals are expected in autumn 2027.

He was about to turn his life around at the 163rd offence you fucking bigot
This is a v depressing sentencing appeal. Man with 162 previous offences including 55 for thefts burgles a Wagamama. Max sentence 10 years. An unelected quango nonetheless stipulates a guideline sentence of 6 months, or 12 months if “top of range”. Judge decides scale of previous offences means he should sentence outside the guideline. Appeal court reverses him. 15 months reduces to 7.

It’s the whole point that these are the last days of the mob, it’s very silly and immature to want some sort of ‘happily ever after’ story, I think the vibe of the season was correct in rejecting that

Very nearly the best GTA of all time, GTA IV edges it
'Grand Theft Auto: Vice City' released 24 years ago today

S4 E9 was the best episode of the Sopranos and maybe the best television episode ever. Just an unbelievably loud, brash ode to the genre. Delightful.

Alright I’ve pontificated on the final Sopranos season and I think it wasn’t bad, the ending I actually liked a lot but I still think the Moltisanti thing was abrupt and earned. It’s not quite enough to sink it however. It’s still one of the best series of all time.

Should have more clearly emphasised the tensions between them I think, other moments earlier in that season or the season before would have made more sense. The actual plot point was good but the payoff wasn't ideal imo

Didn't really have a problem with this, it was an aspect of the show that they had meta commentary about screenwriting. It's about the late mob as well where everyone is running for the hills and making book deals etc. so it's not hard to believe
