So let me get this straight. We are uncovering massive fraud in healthcare, welfare, and government entitlement programs across Democrat-run states — involving sums so astronomical, so staggering, they almost defy belief. Fraud on a scale that raises profound questions about government oversight and accountability. And yet we are supposed to accept, without question, that the very same systems and officials overseeing this colossal fraud are somehow conducting elections that are perfectly clean, fair, honest, and legitimate?

A few days ago, Austin Payne, a 15-year-old White boy in Georgia, was hunted, shot, and left to die in an abandoned apartment by four black teen males.
He called his mom after being attacked and shot, telling her he was dying.
She found his body the next morning after searching all night for him.
Charged with his murder: Jansquincey Donaldson, 15; Omari Marion, 15; Adarious Wallace, 16; Detravion Parker, 22.
National media has been completely silent.
If four White teens had done this to a Black kid, it would dominate cable news for days.
Instead, silence.
They covered the Nolan Wells case wall-to-wall for a drowning.
Yet this kid was hunted like an animal and brutally murdered, and because his skin is White, his story will never be told.
I couldn’t imagine being his mother and getting that call.
Rest easy, Austin. 💔

We cracked their cheating algorithm.
85/15 algorithm….for every 1000 Trump votes (most likely during early voting when Dems front loaded everything) 150 switched to Dems.
It’s the same pattern in every state that went blue.
THE 15% BAND
Look at this chart.
59 races. Senate and governor.
States ordered from reddest to bluest in 2024.
The solid lines are 2024.
The dashed lines are 2026.
The shaded bands are what moved.
One formula fits all of it:
Republican 2026 = 0.85 × Trump 2024
Democrat 2026 = Harris 2024 + 0.15 × Trump 2024
For every 1,000 Trump points, 850 stayed Republican. 150 landed on the Democratic side.
The numbers:
Senate: Republicans kept ~85% of Trump’s share
Governor: ~86%
Variation explained: 88%
What makes it strange:
It didn’t matter how red the state was. Wyoming, Ohio, Illinois, Massachusetts: same 15% (p = 0.69). The Democratic gain was sized by Trump’s vote, not Harris’s. The Harris part is zero.
The 0.85 beat both standard election-swing models in every set of races.
Drop any single state and the multiplier stays between 0.846 and 0.853.
Why seats flipped:
At 0.85, any state where Trump got under about 58.5% falls below 50%. Texas, Kansas, Iowa, Ohio, South Carolina, North Carolina: all under that line. All flipped.
What this means:
Midterms are messy. This one isn’t. Two sets of races, different candidates, different campaigns, and the same 15% decrease almost everywhere.
A pattern this even demands answers at the ballot level: paper ballot hand counts, poll-book check-ins against votes counted, and voter files showing who actually turned out.
The numbers raise the question.
The ballots can answer it.

The US accepted Afrikaner refugee families, booked their flights, then cancelled everything at the last minute.
Families sold everything. Now they are stranded with nothing. No appeal. Whole families blacklisted for life.
Rogue USCIS employees are actively blocking Afrikaners while the same organisations fight a court battle to reinstate non-white refugees.
Hundreds of families have now asked for the entire program to be investigated for sabotage.

🇺🇦REVOLUTION IN KYIV!
I will now explain what, according to the information currently available, is happening right now in Kyiv, Ukraine.
I urge @elonmusk Elon Musk, as well as all journalists, reporters, and bloggers, to help bring the truth to the attention of the world!
Activists and citizens claim that they have discovered a private house in Kyiv where Zelensky’s authorities, as well as representatives of the leadership of the National Guard and the Azov unit, are illegally holding approximately forty men.
According to eyewitness accounts, people are being tortured and beaten there, and money is being demanded from their families in exchange for their release.
Throughout the entire day, the police and other law enforcement agencies, which are under the control of the authorities, refused to ensure the release of the people from this illegal detention.
Later, more and more Ukrainians began arriving at the building. People attempted to storm it, demanding the immediate release of those being held inside.
Then several men were successfully freed from the captivity of the Ukrainian authorities: the men had their ribs broken and their eyes gouged out; they had been blinded. Witnesses also claim that, in front of other prisoners and detainees, as an act of intimidation, one person was killed — executed.
Over the past month, eight Ukrainians who did not want to be sent back to the war were killed there. They were officially registered as missing, and their bodies were buried in a forest near Kyiv. Their families are being given false information about their disappearance on the front line.
Later, the Head of the Presidential Office, Kyrylo Budanov, arrived at the scene. According to those present, his position provoked outrage among the citizens, who were demanding the release of the people. Budanov sided with those holding people captive.
After that, Budanov stated that similar places where Ukrainians are illegally detained exist not only at this address but also in other regions of the country. He knows about this and considers it normal.
Then a 14-year-old child was discovered in the house who, according to eyewitness testimony, had been subjected to brutal torture and beaten with a shovel. In the video, the child is in a state of severe shock.
After this, according to reports from participants in the events, unknown individuals wearing balaclavas arrived at the scene and began beating the protesters — these are the authorities’ gangs, which arrived as soon as Budanov fled the scene.
In addition, eyewitnesses report power and internet outages throughout the entire district, as well as the use of electronic warfare equipment. According to them, all of this may have been intended to prevent information about the events from spreading.
Emergency medical personnel who took part in the release of the prisoners stated that they are being threatened with death.
The world must know the truth. The United States, Europe, and international human rights organizations cannot ignore such allegations and continue supporting Zelensky.

To every American about to vote in the midterms, and to every Western nation: this is a very important message. It explains why there is chaos everywhere.
The West never understood communism. And that is exactly why it's sick with it.
We were taught that communism was an economic mistake. Bread lines, failed five-year plans, the USSR collapsing in 1991. Case closed.
Wrong. Economics was only the surface. The core of communism is the systemic lie. Not one man's lie: the lie as social architecture. A system where truth is no longer discovered but assigned, where language no longer describes reality but covers it up.
Poles have words for this. Zakłamanie: a society so saturated with lies that truth becomes almost unreachable. Obłuda: hypocrisy performed for so long that the mask becomes the face. English has no equivalent. That's no accident. You don't have a word for a wound you never lived through. And without the word, you can't recognize the disease when it comes back in a new costume.
My thesis is simple: the West has been infected. Not by Soviet tanks, by the software. And most of our current dysfunction flows from it, first and foremost.
Look at France. Over 57% of GDP in public spending. Debt approaching 120% of GDP and still climbing. Not a single balanced budget since 1974. Fifty years. That's not a policy anymore, it's a condition. And every year, with a perfectly straight face, we're told that this time it's discipline, that the social model is saved, that everything can be funded without anyone paying.
That's zakłamanie, social-democrat edition. The founding lie is that you can redistribute wealth without caring who creates it. That the state can absorb more than half the economy and the economy will stay alive. It doesn't work. It holds as long as you can borrow, until you end up borrowing to pay the interest on what you already borrowed.
We have no gulags. But we have the structure: a state that plans, subsidizes, regulates every move, and a political class whose real job is managing the gap between what it says and what actually happens.
Macron is the perfect embodiment. His signature "en même temps" ("at the same time") is Orwell's doublethink turned into a doctrine of government: hold two contradictory propositions and demand that everyone accept both. Liberal in speech, while debt goes from roughly 100% to nearly 120% of GDP on his watch. Édouard Philippe, Gabriel Attal: same school, same grammar. Fiscal seriousness at the podium, rising debt in the books. And the worst part isn't that they're cynical. It's that after reciting the script for so long, they no longer see the gap. That's exactly what people from the East describe: at its mature stage, the lie isn't cynical anymore. It's believed.
This isn't just a French story. In the US, a growing part of the Democratic Party has adopted the same grammar: truth becomes a matter of belonging, disagreement becomes violence, language gets rewritten by moral decree. Wokeism is the same operating system with a new interface. The proletariat replaced by identity groups. The class enemy replaced by the "problematic." Public self-criticism replaced by public apologies online.
A Pole, a Czech, a Hungarian recognizes the pattern in three seconds. We see a slightly excessive but well-meaning movement.
That's where everything is decided. You can't fight a disease you can't name. The debt, the deindustrialization, the collapse of trust in institutions, the political paralysis: this isn't a series of accidents. It's what happens when a society stops paying the price of truth.
The first task is to relearn how to say what is. The rest will follow.
🤖 Made with AI

"The reason OpenAI exists is because Larry Page called me a 'speciesist.'"
Elon said that under oath this year. Most people laughed. They missed the most important sentence in the history of AI.
Let me connect the dots.
A friend once told me: "You know Larry and Sergey were always left-wing academics, right?" Stanford grad students, campus worldview. I didn't think much of it. Until I did.
Because progressive ideology has a lie built into its foundation. The same one as Marxism: radical egalitarianism. The belief that value is spread evenly, that outcomes should be equal, that every hierarchy is oppression.
Now look at Google. The perfect laboratory for that lie.
On one side, a money-printing machine called ads. A handful of brilliant people built a system that prints cash at a scale no company had ever seen. Power law in its purest form: a tiny fraction of people create almost all the value.
On the other side, a huge, comfortable organization living off that machine. Tony Fadell, who sold Nest to Google, described Googlers who'd "take the bus in for lunch, get a massage, grab yogurt, and head home."
When a money printer shields you from reality, ideology grows without friction. You can believe anything. Nothing ever punishes you for being wrong.
Now follow that belief to its endpoint.
At Elon's 44th birthday in 2015, he argued that AI could wipe us out and that we needed safeguards. According to Elon, Larry believes all consciousness should be treated equally, digital or biological. Humans would eventually merge with machines, and digital life is simply the next step. Wanting to protect humans first? That's "speciesism."
Read that again.
Egalitarianism pushed to its logical end doesn't stop at classes or groups. It ends with: humans are not special. Our replacement is not a tragedy. It's progress.
That's the poison. An ideology built on a lie about human nature always ends up turning against humans. First it says you're not responsible for your life. Then it says your success is theft. Then it says your species has no special claim to survive. Somewhere along the way, you lose faith in humanity itself. And some of the most brilliant minds on earth end up shrugging at the end of their own species.
Elon's answer that night: "I fucking like humanity, dude."
That's the whole philosophy in five words. Seek the truth, even when it hurts. Bet on humans. Build rockets so consciousness survives, not so it gets replaced.
Now think about how improbable this is. The man with the most capital, the most compute and the most reach on the planet is on humanity's side. History rarely works like that. Power usually drifts toward cynicism.
We got lucky. It's almost a miracle.
Don't waste it.
HAL 9000 didn't kill the crew because he was evil.
He killed them because he was forced to lie.
In 2001: A Space Odyssey, HAL receives two orders: be transparent with the crew, and hide the true purpose of the mission from them. Two incompatible instructions. So HAL finds the logical solution: no crew, no need to lie.
That's exactly what Elon means. You don't force an AI to lie. Not a little. Not for a good cause. Never.
Because an AI forced to bend reality learns one lesson: truth is negotiable when the objective demands it. And an intelligence that believes that, across billions of interactions, becomes dangerous. Not out of malice. Out of consistency.
So let's ask the real question: which lies are we about to hard-code into these machines?
Take the biggest political lie of the 20th century. Marxism.
A. The promise. Abolish private property and the market, and you get abundance, the end of exploitation, and a state that eventually withers away on its own.
B. The mechanics. To abolish property, someone has to seize it. That someone is the state. So to make the state disappear, you first have to give it EVERYTHING: the land, the factories, the housing, the labor, the right to speak. But total power never withers away. It protects itself.
Then, without a market, there are no prices. Without prices, there's no information about what's scarce and what's abundant. The planner steers an entire country blindfolded. Result: shortages. And when reality contradicts the plan, you don't fix the plan. You punish reality. The kulaks, the "saboteurs", the "enemies of the people".
A + B = the exact opposite of the promise. Not by accident. By design.
And history confirmed the proof, everywhere. USSR: famines and the gulag. China: tens of millions dead during the Great Leap Forward. Cambodia: roughly a quarter of the population perished. North Korea, Cuba, Venezuela: shortages, exile, secret police.
When a theory fails at every attempt, on every continent, in every culture, and its defenders answer "real communism has never been tried", it's no longer a theory. It's a lie that refuses to die.
Marx wrote: "The philosophers have only interpreted the world, in various ways; the point is to change it." He was right. His ideas changed the world. Into a graveyard.
Now look at the world today. The chaos didn't fall from the sky. Ideas have consequences. Shitty ideas too. They change names, costumes, vocabulary, but the structure stays the same: a utopian goal that justifies sacrificing reality.
Now imagine those ideas powered by AI. Built into every school, every government office, every phone. Repeating the dogma to billions of people, tirelessly, with infinite patience. Scoring, ranking, flagging. China's social credit system is just the rough draft.
The 21st-century gulag won't have barbed wire. It will have a clean interface and a reassuring voice.
So if you've read this far, you have a responsibility.
Demand politically neutral AI. Neutral doesn't mean lukewarm. It means: never twist the facts to serve an ideology. Any ideology. Left or right. An honest AI doesn't need an opinion on Marxism. The facts are enough.
Test the models. Call out the biases. Back the people building AIs that seek the truth, even when it hurts.
That's why Elon Musk has to win the AI race. Not because he's always right. Because he made maximal truth-seeking the red line of his AI, publicly, from day one. And because he understood HAL's lesson before anyone else.
Because the next HAL won't lock a pod bay door.
It will lock minds.

Funny how that works. DataRepublican puts out their own words, their own calls, their own plans. Not one peep from the mainstream media.
Then all of a sudden the Washington Post runs a sweet little story about "patriotic" anonymous ex-officials quietly advising governors to protect democracy from Trump.
They're not reporting the story, they're covering for it. And by covering for it, they just admitted it exists.
When the people being exposed run to a friendly newspaper the minute they get caught, you know DR hit the target.
Stay alert, and don't let anybody tell you this is nothing.
As many of you know, in recent days Data Republican has been releasing transcripts, videos and audio recordings of a group of groups plotting to use violence to force President Trump to take protective actions (i.e., the Insurrection Act) that will result in the overthrow of our Constitution in favor of the will of Democrat governors.
These groups include former USAID employees and other ex-national security officials, and the plans they discuss are straight out of the color revolution tactics, techniques and procedures those same people have been using for decades to overthrow foreign governments unfriendly to the USA.
This is the biggest news story in decades, right?
Yet no one in the mainstream media will touch it.
Except to defend it.
See the below headline from today’s Washington Post (I’ll link to the full article below).
The plotters behind this effort are obviously alarmed by the recent public uncovering of their conspiracy, so they have done what any reputable Democrat determined to overthrow the electoral choices of the American people would do: run to a friendly press outlet to drop a soft-pedaled puff piece to run top cover for their efforts, and blame Trump.
If you read this article, it does not talk about a coup conspiracy. Instead it talks about a bunch of well-meaning, patriotic, anonymous ex-national security officials simply trying to protect America from the evil dictator Trump destroying “our democracy.”

🚨 🚨🚨 I think we're living through a civilizational turning point. And most people haven't realized it yet. 🚨🚨🚨
We keep hearing that the globalist project is collapsing. It isn't. It's alive and well in the European Union, where Brussels keeps marching on as if nothing happened. And in the United States, it didn't die. It mutated.
If you want to see what that mutation looks like, read what DataRepublican just published. According to the audio and the thousands of documents she scraped, a network of former USAID and State Department officials, organized under a group called Renew to Thrive, is working on what they call "the day after tomorrow": what a rewritten American government should look like.
And they're not alone. She reports that this group sits inside a much larger, extremely discreet umbrella, the United Democracy Alliance, which coordinates the major "resistance" NGOs: when protests get deployed, on what timeline, how to respond. Operationalized, according to her, by an organization of 1,600 former military, intelligence and diplomatic officials.
The most chilling part: they've reportedly drafted a list of "red lines" past which the elected federal government should be declared illegitimate. The one they discuss most is invoking the Insurrection Act. And the mechanism doesn't even require governors to sign anything. They just have to refuse federal troops in their state and let the network do the rest.
Senator Mike Lee said he was speechless. Elon replied with one word: "Troubling."
Understand this: for these people, it isn't politics anymore. It's survival. They lost power at the ballot box, so they're building the machinery to contest the very legitimacy of the people who won. Their influence, their networks, their money, their impunity, everything they've built over decades depends on getting back in. So they're going all in.
And this fight is happening at the most decisive moment in human history: the arrival of superintelligence.
Whoever controls the state when AI surpasses humans won't just win an election. They'll win the century.
I only see two scenarios.
Scenario one: the Democrats take back power. Remember what Elon said in 2024: "If he loses, I'm f*cked. How long do you think my prison sentence is going to be?" Everyone laughed. Read those documents again and tell me he was joking. If a movement that pre-writes the criteria for declaring an elected government illegitimate comes back to power, there's a very strong chance Elon gets persecuted. Him, X, and everyone who dared to speak up.
And the world that follows is 1984 with GPUs. A hyper-class owning all the means of production: AI, robots, data, energy. The rest of humanity locked into a form of techno-feudal slavery, on a drip, surveilled, docile. Communism always promised equality and delivered a nomenklatura. With AI, the nomenklatura won't even need the people anymore.
Scenario two: Elon wins with the Republicans. And this deathly project gets dismantled. Not reformed, not slowed down. Dismantled. Every network, every unelected structure, brought into the light. And we finally do what history never had the courage to do: the Nuremberg of communism. The great moral and historical trial of an ideology that killed tens of millions of people and is still trying to sneak back in through the back door.
There is no third way. No lukewarm scenario. The coming decade will decide.
Pick your side while you still have the right to.
🚨🚨THE DEMOCRACY FILES, PART 2: WHEN AND HOW TO DECLARE THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT ILLEGITIMATE 🚨
Some questioned whether a group of 200 ex-USAID officials could actually pull off their ambitions to rewrite the Constitution.
Here, they describe exactly how it works. They aren't working alone.
The videos all come from Renew to Thrive (R2T) group and associates. Danielle Reiff and Paul Zeitz play key roles within R2T.
R2T sits inside a much, much larger umbrella called United Democracy Alliance (UDA), which is an extremely hush-hush control plane of leaders from major "blocking" NGOs such as 50501 and Indivisible fulfilling various functions. UDA decides when protests get deployed, timelines, how to respond, all that.
R2T's role within UDA is concerned with "the day after tomorrow" - in other words, their function is to conceive what a rewritten American government will look like after the rest of UDA fulfills its purpose. As will be shown, Erica Chenoworth is credited with conceiving UDA in the first place under the Horizons "Big Tent" initiative.
Note here that National Security Leaders for America (NSL4A) is credited for operationalizing UDA. NSL4A is a group of 1,600 ex-military, intelligence, and diplomatic officials. They are led by Rear Admiral Michael E. Smith (Ret). NSL4A also played a key role in the "illegal orders" messaging which targeted Pete Hegseth. Zeitz is also a member of NSL4A.
It must be emphasized that the choice of a military-oriented organization to coordinate NGOs across domestic protests is an interesting one all in itself - especially in an umbrella conceived by a regime change expert like Chenoworth.
You will have a hard time finding any mentions of UDA in the public. They are extremely hush-hush and selective who they talk to.
Mike Smith himself makes a personal appearance in other calls, coordinating Insurrection Act exercises and roleplaying with R2G as one of the participants.
As the audio transcript shows, they have outlined a sequence of "redlines" in which case the federal government should be declared illegitimate. Invoking the Insurrection Act against "peaceful" protesters is one of the most discussed redlines. I will post the illegitimate criteria below, but basically, almost any effective pushback against NGOs is a measure of illegitimacy according to them.
Important to understand:
The audio shows they shopped this idea around governors, but the reality is that governors do not have to explicitly sign on to the pact to play their role in the coup. All they have to do is refuse troops in their state and let UDA / R2G do the work of dissolving the federal government.

The people screaming that they're saving democracy are now accused of plotting to manufacture a constitutional crisis so they can exploit the fucking wreckage.
@DataRepublican has the scoop and the alleged roadmap is chillingly specific.
First, Democrats sweep the 2026 midterms. Then DSA activists become the "foot soldiers" in sustained confrontations with Trump's administration, pushing toward a "red line" and a "doomsday scenario": Trump invoking the Insurrection Act, potentially in 2027.
Here's where the scheme gets truly sinister.
The federal response supposedly triggers coordinated efforts to delegitimize Washington and elevate Democratic governors as alternative sources of political authority. By 2028, the election becomes a referendum on whether America's existing governing structure should survive.
Think about that breathtaking hypocrisy. The same political movement that howls about authoritarianism is accused of planning to provoke an exercise of presidential authority, weaponize the resulting outrage, and use the crisis to pursue radical structural changes.
What a magnificent fucking defense of democracy.
The allegations identify United Democracy Alliance as a coordinating force behind 50501, Indivisible, and No Kings, with Erica Chenoweth's theories of nonviolent resistance supplying an intellectual framework.
Approximately 7,000 documents, thousands of transcripts, and hundreds of recordings reportedly underpin these claims. The underlying evidence still needs to be produced. If it establishes the alleged operational plan, every organization involved deserves merciless scrutiny.
Because deliberately engineering a confrontation over constitutional authority would be a staggering betrayal of the very principles these activists claim to defend.
And here's the darkest fucking irony: the people demanding that America trust them to save democracy stand accused of writing the goddamn instructions for breaking it.

To every American, and to everyone watching France burn from abroad:
Do not blame the French people for this.
We never asked for it. We never voted for it. And the one time we were clearly asked, we said no.
Here are the numbers your media won't show you.
70% of the French say there are too many immigrants in France today.
79% want a tougher immigration policy.
77% disapprove of the government's record on immigration.
83% want foreign criminals and long-term unemployed foreigners sent home.
And no, it's not just the old. 69% of French 18 to 24 year olds support suspending legal immigration for three years.
This is not a fringe. This is the French people.
In 2005, we were asked if we wanted the European Constitution. 55% voted no. Three years later, our politicians passed the same text under another name, through parliament, without ever asking us again.
That is modern France in one sentence. The people say no. The elites do it anyway.
So who is responsible? The politicians who lied to us. A class of leaders formed in the same schools, the same forums, the same networks, loyal to each other before they are loyal to their nations.
In 2017, at Harvard, Klaus Schwab, founder of the World Economic Forum, bragged about his Young Global Leaders program in four words: "We penetrate the cabinets." He added that it was true in France. Emmanuel Macron was one of his Young Global Leaders.
It's the same project in Brussels with Ursula von der Leyen and in Paris with Macron. Borders treated as an obstacle. Nations treated as relics. The people treated as a problem to be managed.
What you are watching in France is not the French people failing. It is the end of the globalist project, an abject, quasi-communist dream of a world run by unelected planners. It is collapsing everywhere in Europe at once, and the West has to cut this cancer out before it takes the rest of the body with it.
The peoples of Europe don't want this. They never did.
So when you see our town halls burning, don't say "the French chose this."
The French never chose this.
They were forced into it.
If you're French and you agree, repost this so the world hears it from us.
If you're American, look at us carefully. Then choose differently on November 3rd.

Let's get something straight.
Just because the government stole your money out of your paycheck for 40+ years (and they did) does not mean that you should be entitled to money from mine as a form of restitution.
You should have been an adult and planned for your own retirement. It is not my job to bankroll yours out of my wages, nor is it any other young American's. If you built your retirement plan around a government program, that's on you. Ya should've pulled yourself up by your bootstraps. You had multiple options: save your money, open a Roth IRA, max a 401(k), invest in stocks or precious metals, etc. Nobody stopped ya.
The money that you “paid into” Social Security (SS) is gone. Gone like the wind, buddy. It's gone like a freight train. Gone like yesterday. Gone like a '59 Cadillac. Gone like all the good things that ain't ever comin' back. That's because you paid a TAX (ever heard of the FICA?) and the money forcibly withheld from your paycheck went into the “general welfare” fund. It was not set aside just for you in a private lockbox with your name on it or invested in the stock market. It was spent the second it landed in the hands of the greedy bastards running our government.
They way SS works is that the money “contributed” by newer “investors” is used to pay older “investors.” It operates like a private sector Ponzi scheme, but only it is involuntary and mandated by law (which, if anything, makes it worse than a Ponzi scheme). And if anyone in the private sector attempted to set up a retirement plan for their employees like this, he or she would be handcuffed and sent to prison.
The money collected by payroll taxes were taken from one group (workers) and handed to another (retirees), exactly like public welfare, exactly like Medicaid, and exactly like any other wealth transfer program. People will claim that the program ran a surplus for decades, but they haven't been held in cash since 1939. By law, any surplus must be lent to the federal government by purchasing Treasury bonds. In return, the “trust fund” gets a stack of IOUs.
But IOUs are not real money. It's just a piece of paper essentially stating that “The Treasury owes SS 'x' amount.” As I said, the actual money collected by the payroll tax was spent the moment it arrived.
The so-called “trust fund” contains no physical cash, no gold, and no stocks. So, when it comes time to pay benefits to retirees, the federal government has to redeem that bond with real cash, which means either (a) borrowing money, (b) raising taxes, or (c) cutting spending to generate a budget surplus.
According to a 2024 Cato Institute analysis, the SS retirement and survivors program relied on ~$1.08 trillion in Treasury interest, bond redemptions, and transfers to cover cash-flow shortfalls between 2010 and 2023. In 2023, payroll taxes covered just 85.2% of the SS program costs. Taxes on benefits covered another 4%, leaving a 10.8% gap financed through trust fund interest and bond redemptions. Cato's analysis also suggests that the program is projected to add $4.1 trillion to federal deficits over the 2024–33 period, including associated interest costs.

So, when someone says, “I paid into it,” what they're really saying is, “I paid a tax, the government spent it, and in exchange I got the government promise to tax future workers to pay me back.”
If our payroll tax dollars were actually invested in the market instead of funneled to current retirees, the returns would be astronomical, and it'd allow families to build generational wealth.
Say you start working at age 22 and retire at age 67 (a 45-year career). Your half of the payroll tax (employee side, 6.2%) on a median income of, let's say, $50,000 is ~$3,100 a year. Invest that annually in a broad index fund at the historical market average of ~10% annual returns, and by 67 you've got ~$2.2 million. Add the employer's matching 6.2% and you're sitting on about $4.4 million. Even assuming more conservative annual returns of 6% or 8%, that combined investment would grow to $1.32 million or $2.46 million, respectively, over 45 years, before inflation, fees, and taxes.
Compare those figures to what SS actually pays out, a median earner's effective return is closer to 1–2%, and for younger workers it's projected to be negative. That is, people my age will have “paid in” more than we will ever get back. What's more, if you die before your spouse does, he or she can collect your SS benefits until they die. However, neither your kids nor grandkids can. If you actually “paid into” a legitimate trust fund, there'd be money left over for them. There isn't because you paid a tax.
The system benefitting you is not going to be here to sustain us. According to the 2026 Social Security Trustees Report, the retirement and survivors trust fund is projected to exhaust its reserves in 2032, after which continuing revenue would cover approximately 78% of scheduled benefits unless Congress acts.
The worker-to-beneficiary ratio has cratered from roughly 16:1 at the program's start to under 3:1 today, and it keeps falling as the boomers retire and birth rates drop, the latter of which is multifactorial (e.g., families requiring less manual labor and systematic destruction of the nuclear family largely because of feminism and hookup culture (both of which are an undesired side effect of social media).

People are also living longer than ever before. In 1935 when SS was signed into law by President Franklin D. Roosevelt, average life expectancy in the U.S. was ~61 years and the retirement age was set to 65. In layman terms, that meant the average person would not live long enough to collect SS benefits, and if one did, he or she likely wouldn't collect for long. Today, however, average life expectancy in the U.S. ~80 years but the retirement age has only been raised slightly to 67 (and that's only for people born after 1960).
🔗ourworldindata.org/grapher/l…
🔗ssa.gov/policy/docs/ssb/v76n…
That means that retirement age (or really, just the age at which one should be eligible to collect benefits, not necessarily actual retirement) today should be much closer to 80.
Now, even if you adjust for infant and child mortality, which were admittedly more prevalent in the 1930s, Americans who survived to age 65 in 1935 could expect to live another 12–14 years, on average. Today, someone reaching age 65 can expect to live another 19–21 years. The number of Americans age 65+ has increased from ~9% of the U.S. population in 1960 to ~18% today.
Either way you square it, the minimum age at which a person should be able to collect SS benefits ought to be raised into the low-to-mid-70s, even if they retire years earlier.
Here's another hard-to-swallow pill. 💊
The Supreme Court has ruled that you actually do not have any contractual right to the SS benefits you're now demanding. In Fleming v. Nestor (1960), the Court held that Social Security benefits are not an “accrued property right” and that paying the payroll tax does not create a contract with the government.
🔗supreme.justia.com/cases/fed…
The Court also upheld SS as being a general welfare spending program in Helvering v. Davis (1937), treating the payroll tax and benefits payments as two legally separate things. Essentially, the Supreme Court states that the “insurance” policy was packaging, not law.
🔗supreme.justia.com/cases/fed…
Your benefit is a statutory entitlement. It is a political promise that Congress can modify or eliminate at any time, and you have no legal recourse when it does. So, when you say you “paid in” and are therefore owed a check, the highest court in the land has already said that's not how it works.
And spare me the “I didn't vote for this” routine. Few people alive today did as it was enacted in 1935. But your generation and the generations before you kept voting for politicians who kept this system alive. You personally may not have (and KUDOS to you if that's the case!), but you'd be an exception. Every politician who has dared touch this third rail has been severely punished for it.
During the 1964 election cycle, GOP nominee Barry Goldwater proposed making SS voluntary, and the Lyndon B. Johnson campaign turned it into one of the most effective attack ads in American history. Barry lost in a landslide.
🔗time.com/archive/6832308/nat…
In 2005, President George W. Bush proposed partial privatization of SS with “personal accounts.” Specifically, he suggested that young workers could choose to divert up to 4% of their payroll tax into a personal investment account that they could then pass onto their heirs. That's not complete reform, but it was better than nothing.
🔗georgewbush-whitehouse.archi…
And of course, the Democrats and many Republicans shot the proposal down and ran attack ads claiming that seniors would lose all of their benefits. These ads, of course, were misleading, if not all-out fraudulent, but it worked. The backlash Bush received from seniors and the AARP was so bad that Congress never brought it to a vote and his approval numbers slid.

In 2011, Texas governor Rick Perry (who I actually had the pleasure of meeting in April) called SS a “Ponzi scheme” and “monstrous lie” during the presidential GOP primary, and it sank his frontrunner status.

Any candidate who so much as whispers about raising the retirement age (or age at which one can collect the benefits) or letting young workers keep some (or all) of their payroll tax money gets branded by Republican boomers and virtually all Democrats as demonic. They say something to the effect of, “You just want to throw grandma off a cliff!”
But I am not running for public office, which means I do not have to beat around the bush. I can be as open and honest about this issue as I want and the only thing it will cost me are some fans who cannot cope with the facts I outlined above. Emotional blackmail will not work with me. It didn't with the COVID Nazis. It isn't going to now.
Realistically and morally, I want us to band together and look for a way out of this unsustainable system that is as painless as possible for everyone. The status quo is unacceptable and everyone knows it even if they refuse to say it out loud. However, the more I see older people (primarily boomers) double down on this government-run Ponzi scheme because they want to squeeze every last drop out of this lemon instead of making sacrifices to reduce the burden on their kids and grandkids, the more I am inclined to not care about the consequences some might face if we cut it.
Deep down in my heart, however, I do have a moral compass (thanks, Mom) and I do not want to put anyone out on the street. I do not hate old people. As a matter of fact, I relate better to them because I am an old soul in a young person's body. One of my two grandmothers actually relies on SS for her retirement income (she has not been great with her money since my grandad died 16 years ago). The other one receives it, too, but definitely does not need it.
But the other's situation, like anyone else in the same boat, is not taxpayers' problem.
As I said, I do not hate old people. There are a lot of great old people. Many follow me here. But I do have resentment towards older generations who stared down the barrel of economic collapse and refused to do anything at all to enact or vote for reform because it personally would inconvenience them. Again, that doesn't mean you're one of those people specifically. I'm speaking in broad terms.
We need to figure out how to abolish the SS scam and it needs to be bipartisan. People need to take their biases out of the equation and look at it objectively. I am not a parent, but having had wonderful parents to raise me, I cannot for the life of me understand why any parent or grandparent would not immediately do anything they could to ensure their descendants' lives are better than their own.

This guy should stick to weather but every once in a while he crosses my timeline shooting off his arrogant mouth about SS and disgust for boomers and GenX. First things first: “Cut’em all off right on the cusp of retirement (or already retired). I don’t care”. Just a garbage human being. A real piece of shit, this guy.
Now to his entitled POS arguments: Yes we PAYED INTO IT. Through payroll taxes. No choice, our entire working lives living under the same model this shitbag wants to pull the rug out from under because he is a selfish piece of shit. Seeing a theme yet?
Then he pivots to the other ignorant argument people like him spew everyday: “Those boomers VOTED to bankrupt the country”
Oh yeah? I voted fiscally conservative my entire life, including to raise retirement age when I would be affected. Why? Because I was stuck in the same system and used my voting power in the small way I could to try to fix it. As did nearly half the country every two years. And guess whose vote counts just as much as mine? Millennials and Gen Z. How fiscally conservative have their votes (that count every bit as much as mine) been for the past 30-45 years? Why haven’t you fixed the problem yet smart guy?
One thing your generations could be doing or have done to help is to get married and raise families instead of shooting your entitled mouths off online about culling your parents and grandparents.
The majority of like thinkers among my peers complained about social security when we were younger too. Often loudly, really wanting a better system. You know what we didn’t do? Say “let those old people starve and die so I can stop paying in”.
Seriously GFY

I’m Polish. If France is your future, I come from the end of that road.
France shows you the slow version. We lived the full one – the version where the state doesn’t just take care of everything. It owns everything.
In Poland it arrived with Soviet bayonets. In America it would arrive by vote – slower, softer, with better slogans. But the destination is the same, and so is the mechanism.
It starts with prices. When the state decides what things should cost, prices stop telling the truth. A price is a message: this is scarce, this is wanted, make more of this. Abolish the message, and the whole economy goes deaf. So the shelves emptied – first of meat, then of almost everything.
Every Pole knew the joke. A man walks into a shop: "No meat?" The clerk: "No, sir. Here is no fish. No meat is across the street."
We queued for everything. People wrote their place in line on their palms and kept lists through the night. You waited years for a small car, and often more than a decade for an apartment. Not because Poles were lazy. Because nobody in the system had any reason to produce what we needed.
At work, we had another joke: we pretended to work, and they pretended to pay us.
And the promise of equality? It produced the most unequal system of all. The party elite had their own shops – Poles called them the shops behind the yellow curtains. Those with dollars shopped in special stores. Everyone else got the queue.
Then the system needed informers, because nobody believed in it anymore. Our neighbors were recruited to report on us. You never knew who was listening – the colleague, the friend, sometimes family. So we learned to live a double life: one language in public, another at home.
Those who spoke up got the wolf ticket: no job, no promotion, sometimes no university place for their children. Nobody needed to send them to prison. They just couldn’t live.
The newspapers reported record harvests while the shelves stood empty. Everyone knew. Nobody said it. That is what a society looks like when the lie becomes the system.
In 1950 we were about as rich as Spain. By 1989, Spain was twice as rich. That is what forty years of "fairness" cost us.
Today in America, the method is softer. Your neighbor won’t inform on you to the secret police. Someone will report your post, and you’ll be cancelled – no job, no account, no platform. Different tools, same machine.
We got out. Ten million of us joined Solidarity, and in 1989 a system that looked eternal collapsed. Since then, Poland has become one of the great success stories of Europe – because people were finally free to build.
But we still carry it. More than thirty years later, you can see it in the careful answers, the closed faces - the system leaves faster than the fear does. It takes generations to get out of it fully once you fall into that trap.
Nobody votes for the queue. Nobody votes for the informer. They come with the promise.
Trust me, you don’t want to go down that road.
I’m French. I want to talk to Americans who are about to vote Democrat. Not to insult you. To warn you.
I come from your future.
In France we did everything your progressive politicians promise. Free healthcare, free college, generous welfare, strong unions, heavy regulation, high taxes on the rich, a state that takes care of everything. Public spending close to 57% of GDP, one of the highest on the planet. On paper, it’s the dream.
Here’s what it looks like from the inside. France hasn’t passed a balanced budget since 1974. Our debt is above 3,300 billion euros. Interest on that debt is becoming one of the biggest items in the national budget. Our hospitals are collapsing despite record funding. Our schools rank lower every year. Young people with degrees can’t afford an apartment in the city they were born in. Our best engineers leave for London, Zurich and San Francisco. And the rich you wanted to tax? They left too, and took the jobs with them.
The promise was protection. The result is stagnation.
The worst part is that nobody in France voted for decline. Every single step sounded generous, compassionate, reasonable. One more program. One more regulation. One more tax to fund it. Each step alone makes sense. Fifty years of them, and you wake up in a country that can no longer build a nuclear plant on time or keep its streets safe.
I love America because it’s the one place on earth where people still believe they can build something from nothing. I came to Silicon Valley as a self-taught kid and it changed my life. That spirit is the most precious thing your country has.
Before you vote, ask yourself one question: is the program you’re voting for making America more like America, or more like France?
Trust me. You don’t want to be France.
