So you're telling me that starting ill-conceived, disastrous wars that send oil prices through the roof, wrecking the global economy, kissing totalitarian dictators' asses, humiliating friends and allies, openly engaging in corrupt schemes, behaving in public like a completely unhinged lunatic, dragging Ukraine through the mud and twisting its arms into a stupid capitulation, and groveling before Putin for a few petty corrupt handouts...
...is NOT the best election strategy in America?

Josh Shapiro slams Vivek Ramaswamy:
I've prosecuted dozens of people for sexual abuse. A parent abusing their own child—those cases kept me up at night. The idea that a guy running for governor would weaponize that? That the vice president of the United States, who does this phony preacher nonsense about morality, would double down on it?
It speaks to how profoundly and pathetically weak JD Vance is. It speaks to the character of Vivek Ramaswamy to attack a victim like that. It's disgusting.

russia has run into serious problems with its offensive in Donbas, where its forces have become bogged down.
One of the main reasons was that russian logistics had been crippled by Ukrainian drone strikes. This campaign depended heavily on Starlink terminals operating on high-speed Ukrainian drones.
russian military command identified this as a critical problem and approached the American side, asking it to restrict the speeds at which Starlink terminals could operate.
The argument was simple: there would be little public backlash because the US could still claim that Starlink was operational and that the service was still being provided.
The Trump administration agreed to the restrictions, effectively solving a critical battlefield problem for Russia.
As a result, russian logistics in Donbas are now safer, and Ukraine has lost an important advantage on the battlefield.

When you hear Trump's team brag about how much they have given to Ukraine, here are the actual numbers.
I don't particularly like Democrats and I downright despise leftist ideologies. I will vote for Dems anyway, yet again.
The Republican Party is the Trump party now. The Republican Party will not stop being the Trump Party until it loses badly enough to force a correction.
Attacking Iran was a stupid choice. The US is obviously not defeated, but so far there does not appear to be much strategy for genuine victory. This drove prices up, complicated supply chains, and generally made the world less safe.
Strategically I doubt the US or China really care if Ukraine wins, but they don't want Ukraine (or Russia) to fully lose either.
Mostly they just want the war to come to a conclusion OF ANY KIND so "business as usual" can return.

The US establishment views Europe as freeloading (historically if not still) and does not want to end up taking all the losses in a future European drone war.
China just wants customers to feed its industrial base to keep people employed and not asking questions.
Learn to code is just going to tranform to: learn how to use AI driven coding tools.
You still need to learn how to do things, don't stop learning. Being basic and replaceable is always going to result in mediocre results and your eventual replacement.
Andrew Yang just came back from an AI conference and what he heard alarmed him. Four years ago the standard career advice was learn to code. Now he says the opposite is true.
He described what people at the conference told him: "They said to me that what we're going to see in the next 6 months outstrips what we've seen in the last 10 years cuz the rate of change is on a hockey stick and heading up. And I got to say I'm pretty up to date on this stuff and it blew my mind on some of the stuff I was seeing."
One number stood out to him. "There was one company that is selling autonomous coding for enterprises to big businesses and their revenue is up 100-fold in the last 12 months."
The downstream effect is already showing: "If that continues, it's going to eat a lot of the tech budgets from major corporates that used to go to humans. And so you're seeing the employment of recent computer science graduates fall off a cliff from a lot of programs."
He points to Anthropic's CEO for the bigger picture: "Dario Amodei, the CEO of Anthropic, laid it out very clearly and he's been doing so repeatedly, saying we're going to automate away up to 50% of entry-level white collar jobs in the next several years. And I believe him."
Why entry-level first? Yang's answer is blunt: "The easiest people to fire are the people you haven't hired yet, which again is why you see the hiring of recent college graduates heading down."
The data is already confirming it. The underemployment rate sits above 50%, and unemployment among college graduates is now equal to or higher than non-college graduates for the first time on record.

This is a big problem in America: we spend ridiculous sums of money to get no results.
This applies not just to military but to education, health care, etc too.
Spending taxpayer money is not the same as fixing problems.
I like the benefits of AI, but someone who isn't a moron should keep an eye on it. And the data centers should be built somewhere sensible (your backyard, not mine). Also, farmland should be farmed rather than covered in concrete.
The wall itself is a tacky choice, really messes up the view of the surrounding farmland. First thing you should do when you are rich is move to a place where you don't need walls.
Also: put the compound up on a hill for a better view.
Also: get better landscaping.
Cows and horses smell (maneur) and they need more space than they're being given. Move the animal agriculture away from the houses, and incorporate the solar farm into the grazing rotation to get better land usage.
Also this would be better with forests, creeks and a lake.
Couldn't school districts adjust starting time and/or school hours per whatever works best for kids in their community? If so, Permanent DST really wouldn't that much.
