If we treated race relations like cyclists: "Due to a spate of lynchings, it has come to our attention that Negroes are no longer safe in white society. Henceforth, they will be confined to small, specially-built ghettos. Further, to further prevent lynchings ...
The attitude of them is something else. Personally if they refuse to use infustructure provided for them the the close pass rule should not apply.

17,000 men apply to MIT 8900 women apply to MIT 600 men were accepted 612 women were accepted If we assume male and female applicants to MIT are roughly the same, the probability this happens by chance, let alone every year for a while The probability of a sex blind admission process creating this result is 1 in 4 × 10³¹

I’m sure they are excellent, but im surprised that twice as many men apply, and the rate of female acceptance is double that of men.

People don't understand how pernicious DEI is for people of blended race backgrounds. You get to claim status as a member of one part of your family tree, but in exchange, have to bash to other part. Forever. And police it in others.

"Young guys are out there thinking that women live life in easy mode because we get 100 times more likes on dating apps." No, they think that because institutions give preferential treatment to girls & women. Then those same young men are called bums for not succeeding. This has been going on for my entire life and is still going on now.

I resent men a little because they automatically get this presumed status of protector and the one who is respected for being the person who is called to die for his family if needed. A man’s odds of dying or getting maimed in the process of saving his family are probably 1000 times lower than a woman’s odds or getting maimed or dying in childbirth. Young guys are out there thinking that women live life in easy mode because we get 100 times more likes on dating apps. You think it’s so easy, but then the baby comes, and the last baby that came out of me was suddenly obstructed in a manner that left me permanently injured in my hips and pelvis, unable to walk a mile and unable to stand for more than 5 minutes for several years. Nothing happened to my husband. He’ll never have to risk life and limb saving any of us. That was me, and no one is going to see his 6’3” strapping self next to my 5 ft self and ever see us that way.

A whole generation of European men is being slaughtered. When we look at history we often wonder "how could we let this happen", but this is happening as we speak. I used to have some Ukrainian friends. Very smart right wing guys. They were very much like me and my movement, but the Ukrainian version. All of them are dead now. All of them. The loss is so much worse than everyone realises. Whatever the outcome of the war may be, the Russian and Ukrainian people —and Europeans in general— have already lost.

Now, if only the designers of "bicycle infrastructure" could be made to understand that and apply it when cyclists interact with cars, since cars are the opposite and have powerful engines and excellent brakes.

bikelane fanatics like @Freiheit20001 call ordinary city streets “car lanes” Nothing could be more anti-cycling or #CarBrained. This is the tell that bikelane propagandists don’t believe we have a right to cycle streets, exact same mindset as Big Truck Jerks Who Honk

The Supreme Court has formally endorsed a sentencing regime in which punishment depends on your race. In the recent Cope case, the Supreme Court upheld a reduced sentence for an Indigenous offender who brutally assaulted his intimate partner. The trial judge imposed five years. A sentencing circle, an Indigenous conflict-resolution practice, recommended three. The Supreme Court said three was right, scolding the trial judge for not giving enough weight to “Indigenous legal traditions.” There is no such thing as “Indigenous law.” And Indigenous traditions should not override Canadian law as written by Parliament. The result? An offender receives a discount, not because of the facts of his crime, but because of his background. This is not justice. It is racial accounting dressed up as reconciliation. Make no mistake: equality before the law, a foundational principle of Western civilization, no longer applies in Canada. The Supreme Court has replaced it with a system in which justice is administered according to group membership, ancestry, and historical grievance. And it does not stop with Indigenous offenders.  The same logic is being extended through Impact of Race and Culture Assessments to other groups. The principle is always the same: some Canadians are treated as members of groups with historical grievances, while others are treated as individuals responsible for their actions. The People’s Party believes in ONE STANDARD OF JUSTICE FOR EVERY CANADIAN. You do the crime, you do the time. Full stop. We are the only federal party willing to say what the Liberals and fake Conservatives will not: Canada’s courts must treat every victim and every offender equally before the law.

I don't support discriminating against cyclists: why isn't the pedestrian crossing laid across the road instead of the bike lane? Who needs the momentum more?
Everything that is wrong with these floating bus stops…. I’m a cyclist and DO NOT support discriminating against disabled people and making life more difficult. Video courtesy of Sarah

💥MAJOR BREAKING: Ottawa scrapped the only rule that required employers to hire Canadians first. Buried in paragraph two of an IRCC release, employers no longer have to advertise a job, prove no qualified Canadian applied, or pay $1,000 for an LMIA — for a high-wage job offer to count toward permanent residence. The Labour Market test is gone from the PR route, and verification moves out of ESDC, whose mandate is protecting Canadian workers, and into IRCC, whose mandate is selecting immigrants. Still think the great replacement is a conspiracy?

"There was no evidence that cycle lanes reduce the rate of cycle collisions (rate ratio 1.21, 95% CI 0.70 to 2.08). Taking into account cycle flow, there was no difference in collisions for cyclists using cycle routes and networks compared with cyclists not using cycle routes ...

An update on the Canadian legal system: Indigenous men now get a reduced sentence if they rape a white woman, but no reduction if they rape an Indigenous woman

Why choose to take such a convoluted route when the designers of modern "bicycle infrastructure" can do the work for you?
Is it too much to ask for publishers of articles advocating for cycling routes on secondary roads in Toronto to require their authors to submit a proposed alternative? @RDiManno, is this the sort of secondary route you're thinking as an alternative to the Yonge Street lanes?

this is false framing. removing bikelane decorations DOES NOT make them “motor vehicle lanes” bc we have a right to cycle on the street, same as always, a right which the bikelane fad throws away.

Canada's Mass Immigration (2017 to 2025) was the worst economic policy decision in Canadian history. It was NOT progressive; it was, in fact, extremely REGRESSIVE. It transferred wealth and market power: ➡️from the Young to the Old, ➡️from the Poor to the Rich, ➡️from Labour to Corporations, and ➡️from the Renter Class to the Owner Class. Prior to 2015, immigration to Canada was high and focused on high-skilled, high-wage labour. In 2015, THIS government CHANGED the RULES, which shifted the focus to low-skilled, low-wage labour. This hurt the job prospects of young Canadians entering the labour market, put downward pressure on wages and lowered Canada's productivity. ➡️bankofcanada.ca/2025/05/staf…) It also increased housing costs, particularly for renters, who tend to be poorer and younger. ➡️bankofcanada.ca/publications… In short, it was horrific for the youngest, poorest and most vulnerable in our society. Never mind the social upheaval it caused. Now that Job Vacancies have normalized and rents are falling, this government is floating the idea of raising immigration. It is outrageous. Worse, it is, again, being pitched as progressive when it is not. It hurts the Working Class; Bernie Sanders was right...youtu.be/vf-k6qOfXz0 The only thing that will improve the standard of living for working-class people is productivity growth. That's it.

2025 was the worst year this century for male suicide. 2026 is the worst since records began, for suicide in middle-aged men. Is there enough hindsight yet, to say "f**k you", to those who wasted so much time, with their "male suicide is caused by toxic masculinity" bullshit?
