Let me break down my two trades on $MU because this has been my BIGGEST win of the year yet!
This trade was the perfect alignment of macro + theme + individual RS.
The 1st trade was off the weekly breakout in late April, after noticing that the ENTIRE sector was in theme and running. Names like $STX, $WDC, and $SNDK were making massive weekly breakouts off of the short consolidation period.
My strength has always been pattern recognition and identifying high probability setups, not getting that picture perfect entry.
I added into my original position once and within ten trading days my contracts went from 19.15 -> 150.00 for over +680% in returns.
I ended up adding rolls to catch the push into $818, but gave some back on the sharp pullback.
But the most important part here is that I didn't take $MU off my watchlist.
A name that has RS in a strong sector will probably continue to be strong and I'd rather trade these names instead of looking for another setup.
The 2nd trade was taken at the EOW on a Friday and while $MU's daily does not look pretty, I utilized the sector to gauge the health of the trend.
$WDC, $SNDK and $STX all had more convincing inside bars. Every name trades a bit differently, so you have to analyze the broader sector too.
The most recent PA with the large daily flag shows you that with the increased volatility, price could undercut EMAs and won't be perfect.
But what does the recent action tell you?
-> quick reaction off an undercut of the daily 9EMA + slight 21EMA
-> reclaim of the daily 9EMA and closed above
-> weekly candle ends up being a doji near the highs
This trade sums up my ENTIRE process, I focus on:
- daily + weekly closes aligned with volume for confirmation
- macro + theme working together to support the technical story
- let runners run as momentum ramps up
These types of large moves take time to develop so it's all about having patience and actually let them set up without getting in preemptively.
$MU is my highest conviction long right now.
Let's compare it to some of these other memory/semi adjacent names:
$SNDK - Similar weekly consolidation where price really launched into a breakout after a bullish weekly print. The push higher was also on extremely healthy volume too, that's how you know it's legit.
$WDC - Does that weekly structure look familiar? The PA + breakout is almost a mirror.
$BE - I know this is technically energy, but look at the weekly breakout. This name actually has the closest type of PA compared to $MU where we get a weekly doji into an aggressive push to the upside.
I am expecting $MU to follow suit as it's clearly one of the leaders, if not THE leader, in memory. On top of all this, $DRAM continues to skip numbers and make new highs with $MU as 24% of the weighting.
IMO this isn't a question of if, but when $MU will start to make new highs.

"I could be making a lot of money, but I keep making mistakes."
A trader told me this three and a half years into trading his own money.
Fixing those mistakes wasn't the answer. Here is why.
Oh, hi.
Don't mind me.
I just thought you should know, while you enjoy the face ripping rally today, that it is not without precedent.
In fact, the day after the 2018 Trump Midterm Election, SPX was up +2.1%!
Which was so bullish that the market then proceeded to do this:
Under pressure from Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the Trump administration may be within days of launching a nuclear strike on Iran. The target would be Pickax Mountain in central Iran, where Israeli intelligence claims the Iranian government has restarted its nuclear enrichment program. No conventional weapon in the American arsenal can penetrate 300 feet of solid granite to destroy the tunnels where enrichment is supposedly taking place. The only military option is a nuclear strike. Netanyahu has been pushing hard for one. âBibi calls Trump about it every day,â says an informed observer.
Netanyahu is cornered and desperate. After last weekâs election results, he canât form a government unless Trump intervenes directly in Israeli politics and brokers a deal with other parties that gives Netanyahu 61 seats in the Knesset. Otherwise, he is out as prime minister and on his way to ignominy, investigations and possibly jail. Netanyahu must stay close to Trump. He needs this war.
To that end, heâs applied maximum pressure to his closest allies in the administration, including Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth and CENTCOM commander Brad Cooper. Both oppose a negotiated settlement to the war theyâve so grievously mismanaged; both are pushing to restart major combat operations. Secretary of State Marco Rubio and CIA director John Ratcliffe are also following Netanyahuâs lead, as are leaders of the Democratic Party. In a recent meeting on the subject, former president Barack Obama said he opposes the current Iran peace deal being drafted in Doha.
The rest of Americaâs longtime allies in the Middle East are terrified by the prospect of more war. On September 27th, Netanyahu flew secretly to Abu Dhabi to enlist the UAE in his lobbying effort for a final attack on Iran. The Emiratis refused. After eight months of conflict, Gulf economies are teetering. So are global energy and fertilizer markets. They wonât recover soon. Globally, there are a total of about 850 supertankers used to transport oil from producers to the rest of the world. In October alone, 11 of them were badly damaged in Hormuz. At this pace, a global depression is imminent. A nuclear strike would radically accelerate the destruction. Fallout from a ground explosion at Pickax Mountain would contaminate the Persian Gulf, poisoning the water supply for 100 million people.
And those are just some of the immediate consequences for the region. The rest of the world is every bit as exposed. No country other than the United States has ever used a nuclear weapon in war. Some would like to. An American nuclear attack on Iran would set a new precedent. The Russians have already told at least two other governments that an American nuclear strike on Iran would free them to use nuclear weapons against Ukraine. Pakistan and India would be tempted to do the same against each other, as would North Korea against Seoul. After the first nuclear strike, World War Three is inevitable. That war would be short and final.
Weâve been sleepwalking toward this moment for months. Since February, the administration has quietly rewritten Americaâs nuclear doctrine to make first use of so-called âbattlefield nukesâ easier and therefore more likely. No one in Washington in either party seems bothered by this. Now weâre on the brink of it.
Close observers say Trump is likely to decide by next weekend whether or not to use nuclear weapons. That would be November 7, six days from now. To his credit, heâs hesitating. At the moment, Trump is listening to his vice president, JD Vance, and to his envoy and friend Steve Witkoff, both of whom argue a deal with Iran can be made.
Theyâre right, though it wonât be simple. The Iranians are famously frustrating to negotiate with under any circumstances, and elements of that government have become more radical since Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and his family were killed in February. After decades of isolation, even relatively moderate Iranian leaders seem confused by how decisions are made in the West. (There is a widespread belief in Tehran, for example, that the United States government controls Israel.) But overall, people who have spoken to decision-makers in Iran say there is consensus there that more war is bad for everyone and a deal is worth making.
One group that hasnât been consulted so far is the global population â the hundreds of millions of people who will be killed along with their children if Trump is pushed by Netanyahu into launching a nuclear strike next week. Now would be the time for them to speak up.
can't emphasize this enough:
there is always a new theme/group that will lead
focusing too much on previous leaders will make you miss out on the new runners
stay cash, observe, and be ready to deploy capital
When looking for the potential market turnaround from this correction there is literally no point in trying to catch the bottom on a lot of these leading names that have dropped like semis/memory/etc.
You are way better off catching the actual index because indices always take out the bad and filter in the new regardless. Most of these big names that have dropped most likely wont see their ATH again for a very long time if at all.
Catch QQQ near the bottom for example and ride the new theme momentum back up very safely.
Learned this market read from @artisanwill12, to important to not share.
Before you go buying EVERY dip on individual names in the market, you have to remember that this key metric is about the indexes.
Majority of these names that are down 50%-70% are probably never touching their ATHs ever again.
$INTC took 26 years to get back to 2000 highs
$PTON, $TDOC, $ROKU, & $ZM are probably never reaching their ATHs again
Understand the risk you face from buying individual names that have been beaten down.
When the market is this bleak, itâs easy to focus on the negatives.
But what matters is if you continue to fight the good fight.
EVEN if youâve wiped out the yearâs gains, there is a very valuable lesson to learn there. And it has nothing to do with the market.
Learn from your mistakes and take the experience into the next market cycle.
yikes
BREAKING: Intel stock, $INTC, crashes over -22% after reporting weaker than expected earnings.
Intel blamed weak earnings on "softness in the PC market."

A lot of similarities to early/mid 2021 these last couple of months. Back in 2021 all the shitcos got smoked LONG before the big indices ever rolled over.
Setups which would normally produce a major low were providing a small relief pop only. That happened early and then it was just a bloodbath. While indices marched higher, many accounts were blown as their favorite growth names got slaughtered. The frustration was extreme. Many people quit trading.
Iâve heard a ton of similar stories the last few months. Swing accounts and long term portfolios decimated. For many it is too late. There are times to aggressively put your capital to work and times when it makes sense to protect it.
Even my top setups on individual names have only been yielding a quick relief pop the last month or so. It isnât a healthy environment.
If you still have capital left then I would consider yourself lucky as many cannot say the same. Wait for a meaningful liquidation break in the market and then evaluate putting capital to work

Imagine a sniper who shoots because he is tired of waiting for the target.
He misses, reveals his position, and fails the mission.
Boredom is not a reason to pull the trigger.
It is part of the job description.
I havenât been posting much because thereâs not really much to say or do right now.
I repost content that others are posting because I could not say it better.
Sometimes itâs okay to slow things down, and I think we often forget that.
$QCOM is a semi name that's going to stay on my radar if the market starts to bounce
large support zone at the daily 200SMA + weekly 50EMA confluence
$QCOM is only down around -18% from recent highs, while previous leaders like $INTC are down -30%
As long as this daily 200SMA continues to hold, I think this name could be building up a monster move
