....and of course @ChezBruce knocks it out of the park once again! Lovely mix of new dishes and CB classics, all flawlessly executed by @MattChristmas1 and his team, and served by the best FOH in the business.
Brilliant seasonal dishes @LaTrompetteUk yesterday for WIMPS. The sight of 30 perfect soufflés coming out of the kitchen at the same time was breathtaking! Fabulous as always from @Gregory_Wellman @yuan86087 @donalde and the team. On to @ChezBruce @MattChristmas1 today for lunch!
All set for the double - a pair of Rieslings for France Less Celebrated WIMPS @LaTrompetteUk @Gregory_Wellman tomorrow, then the claret for @ChezBruce @MattChristmas1 on Friday (to make a very classic pair with the Meursault my friend is bringing along). Food & wine heaven!
Tonight's dinner - a 1.1kg rib on the bone (to share) from a 10 year old Galician dairy cow - the Rolls Royce of beef, from @BascoFineFoods

Weekend in Whitby - Friday night @themagpiecafe for the best fish and chips in the world, then Saturday night fresh seafood from @TheWhitbyCatch in our airbnb - oysters, Maine style lobster rolls and Burgundy. Life is not too bad!
Spectacular lunch @ChezBruce today, 3 very different dishes from @MattChristmas1 and his team: lobster raviolo - classic and unimprovable, lamb rump and spiced shoulder - a new twist on a CB classic, coffee eclair with praline - a totally new one on me. All stunning, obviously!
Great line up of wines for lunch @ChezBruce today, this is my contribution, to be paired with a Pontet Canet from the same vintage - I have no doubt @MattChristmas1 will conjure up something amazing to go with them!
The award winning pizza @napoli_on topped with beef ragu in place of the tomato sauce. Delicious! I'm usually a purist when it comes to pizza, but this really worked.
Brilliant meal at OMA in Borough Market last night - simple, hearty dishes but packed with flavour, fully deserves its #MICHELINstar . My oh my, the extra virgin olive oil gelato is unreal!
Great weekend ahead - dinner at OMA Borough Market tonight, then lunch @napoli_on followed by Wembley for @unionjackclasic tomorrow, then lunch @ChezBruce @MattChristmas1 on Sunday to round off the weekend!
Amazing lunch @ChezBruce today - @MattChristmas1 and his team on top form, the pigeon special is one of the best things I've ever eaten, also loved the Guinness malt custard dessert. Service was utter perfection from the whole FOH team- my favourite restaurant anywhere!
WIMPS @LaTrompetteUk today was sensational - @Gregory_Wellman @yuan86087 4 stunning dishes but good lord that Pain Perdu was off the scale brilliant!!! Perfectly cooked grouse too, the little pastilla being the highlight of that dish. Great to see @donalde back too!!
Fabulous dinner @ElystanStreet last night - always a pleasure to eat @philiphoward8 food. Great ingredients, simply presented and packed with flavour. The cherry Bakewell actually rivals @MattChristmas1 - not something I say lightly!!

Wines ready for @ElystanStreet tonight, WIMPS @LaTrompetteUk tomorrow and then lunch @ChezBruce on Saturday - hoping for grouse at some point on the trip (@MattChristmas1 is the master of this). Cannot wait!
All set for Iberian WIMPS @LaTrompetteUk tomorrow, this is one of my favourite themes which really seems to suit @Gregory_Wellman style of food, with the Yarra Yering lined up for lunch @harwoodarms. Sadly no time to visit @ChezBruce this time but I'll be back in August!
Brilliant brilliant brilliant - a seafood feast @ChezBruce on tip top form! @MattChristmas1 and his team on fire today, the lobster raviolo is a CB classic but the curried monkfish was arguably even better! What a lunch.
Burgundy WIMPS @LaTrompetteUk was another pretty special afternoon - thanks to the whole team for looking after us so wonderfully. Food was light, fresh and perfectly summery - the trademark style of @Gregory_Wellman .
Now onto @ChezBruce @MattChristmas1 for lunch today!
