These numbers will get adjusted as I get more data.
So far, with 99.5% of the votes in, Talarico won roughly 83% of independents and 11.5% of Republicans.
The Senate wasn't close, at all.
North Carolina: Dem +19.
Texas: Talarico +12
Maine: Jackson +7
Ohio: Brown +5
Kansas: Hamilton +5
South Carolina: Andrews +4
Iowa: Turek +4
Louisiana's Senate race, which the GOP won by 1.8%, was closer than all 7 of these Dem flips!

🚨 2022 is the last time Liverpool won a penalty from a VAR decision… they've received 2 TOTAL since VAR was introduced in 2019.
Other teams, including Manchester City, have AT LEAST 12 VAR-rewarded penalties.

In a weird way, everybody is rooting for you. When you go to a job interview, the interviewer wants you to be amazing so they don’t have to look anymore. when you go on a date, the person wants to have an amazing date with you. If you make a piece of content, people want to see amazing pieces of content and they have no problem if it’s yours.
the instant you get into the mindset that people want you to do well, your entire world gets better. And you’ll be shocked to know this pattern keeps repeating in different areas of life.

Andoni Iraola says he will tell his Liverpool players to go down when they are fouled in the box after they were controversially denied a penalty in Sunday’s 1-0 Premier League defeat to Arsenal.
“It is a shame you ask me this question but, honestly, yes we have to tell them ‘go down’ because they aren’t going to call it otherwise,” Iraola told reporters post-match.
“I think Alex is honest. He tries to go for the ball and everyone can see straight away that it is a clear, clear pull.
“He was going to head the ball right in front of goal when they grabbed his shirt. I don’t see why him not diving or not going to the floor should be a reason not to give the penalty."

Hi David, listened to this yesterday. You stated, unequivocally, that Man City haven't briefed or leaked on this story. That is categorically untrue, and has been since 2020, at least. Get in touch and I'll give you details. But don't lie to your licence-paying listeners.

Let me show you what it's like to live in an autocracy. This morning, the heating went off in New Belgrade due to a technical malfunction. My mom, an educated woman and a medical doctor who has traveled the world, immediately assumed it was revenge by remnants of the regime because we voted against them. Autocracies change your psyche. The state becomes an actor that persecutes you, takes from you and watches you. This fear and distrust make it harder for people to connect and organize collectively against the regime. Russia is Serbia multiplied a hundredfold.

I'm happy to avoid Brazilian politics, but Lula's bizarre remarks about Zelensky being "as responsible for the war as Putin" must be revisited now. Does he stand by them after months of Russian war crimes? Does he defend a war of imperial conquest?
