3 years after passing of Electricity Act 2023. State governors are tip-toeing around the additional responsibility. Good luck to those expecting magic with State Police.

Before the tears of Ethiopia have dried, another heinous massacre has shaken the country. According to local media reports, at least 34 Ethiopian Orthodox Christians were killed on Thursday, when a group of gunmen opened fresh fire in Ethiopia's Oromia region. The latest mass murder has raised the death toll to 94 in less than three weeks. The massacre reportedly took place in Endato village in Robe district, where armed perpetrators opened fire at the residents, killing at least 34 and leaving several others injured. Shops and other properties were damaged in the attack. The attack, the latest blow to the nation already ailing from two previous attacks on October 20 and 24 in Oromia's Merti and Shirka districts, in which at least 60 Orthodox Christians were killed, has left the country in tremors. Concerns have been heightened about the safety of religious communities in Oromia, where lingering armed conflict have displaced civilians and fueled insecurity. Let us lift our heartfelt prayers to the merciful God, so that He may deign to wipe out the tears of the sorrowing people and protect them from further dangers. #EthiopiaNews #OromiaViolence #ChristianPersecution #EthiopianOrthodoxChurch #PrayForEthiopia #shalomworldnews

See what Nigerians are talking about, and we'll say that it's only our government that is spoiling our reputation outside.
CL: I think i made a mistake during the transaction. I sent you $10k instead of $1k. I need my money back. Wetin you go do?😂

You can't entirely fault us. Human nature tends to favour immediate gratification over long-term benefits. That's why we'd complain if we paid ₦60 yesterday and the price suddenly increased to ₦200 without seeing any immediate results or tangible value from the increase.
Nigerians are insulting me because they want to buy electricity generated for N200 for N60. Energy MMM

2015 campaign was APC top to bottom, 2027 campaign is going around NDC top to bottom. Doing top to bottom would've been nice but in a situation where we just elect people without knowing what they sound like, top to bottom will be another mistake.

Nigerian politics has reached a point where some people believe that if you understand a government policy and can explain why it might be necessary, you must be benefiting from the government

When the Chibok girls were kidnapped, I remember bawling my eyes out while I was supposed to be reading for my exams. I couldn't help but think, "What if it happens to me?" Now, in 2026, I wonder when exactly I became so inured to the debilitating insecurity plaguing our country. I don't want to have to experience it myself to understand the horror. We shouldn't be living this way.
