Saw this back then and I thought it was interesting. I had a couple of theories on how to do that, and I tested them using the Mania Sonic test project I did previously. After some trials, here's the result. Had to fill in some frames, but I guess it worked out in the end 👍

This is not optimized at all, you can definitely go faster but here's Lion Turtle Island S rank at Super Sonic Speed. I'm not gonna bother going for leaderboard runs yet because we're getting a 7th gadget slot soon that's gonna break the game, so I'll just wait.

This is one of the best fan works I think I ever seen. The psychological horror being conveyed in an unassuming family photo, that become more clear as you examine it. It's like Silent Hill levels of subtle creepiness. I love this.
