Full-time junior Air Canada flight attendants currently earn $1,952 a month.
BEFORE TAXES.
That’s slightly over $12/hr.
Air Canada did $22 billion in revenue & $3.6 billion in EBITDA last year.
They seriously want to blame stranded passengers on flight attendants who don’t want to work for free?

TEAMSTERS WIN AGAINST YELLOW CORP. IN COURT, JUDGE SHOOTS DOWN COMPANY'S FRIVOLOUS LAWSUIT
The International Brotherhood of Teamsters won a major victory against Yellow Corporation yesterday with the dismissal of the company’s frivolous $137 million-dollar lawsuit by U.S. District Court Judge Julie A. Robinson.
The lawsuit, Yellow Corporation et al., v. International Brotherhood of Teamsters et al., was a blatant attempt by Yellow Corp. to undermine the rights of workers and discredit the #Teamsters. The union vigorously defended its position and challenged the meritless breach of contract claims filed by Yellow Corp. The court agreed with the union’s position that the lawsuit be dismissed.
“After years of corporate mismanagement, Yellow still never misses an opportunity to embarrass itself or bring further shame to what used to be one of America’s strongest freight carriers. As the Teamsters expected, the court saw right through Yellow’s PR stunt of a lawsuit,” said Teamsters General President Sean M. O’Brien. “Yellow’s greedy executives drove this company into the ground despite enormous, selfless sacrifice from its workforce for decades. This lawsuit represented management’s desperate, last-ditch attempt to save face — and they failed yet again.”

Teamsters General President Sean M. O’Brien addressed students at the Boston University School of Law Thursday evening.
O’Brien discussed the national UPS contract, challenges facing the Teamsters and the American labor movement, and his personal journey growing up in Boston. The talk was hosted by the university’s Employment and Labor Student Association and the American Constitution Society.
“When you look around the country today, you are seeing more young people who are organizing and joining unions,” O’Brien said. “You are seeing it in tech, retail, food service, and even on college campuses like this one. That’s why it’s important to have dialogue like this and encourage younger generations to learn more about how unions improve lives.”
