I want to emphasize this because it's important:
This was not a Midnight hack—it was a bridge-related incident.
Midnight itself remains secure, and the team is continuing to build and move forward.
Unfortunately, bridge exploits have happened across the crypto industry before. We're hopeful that Wanchain is able to determine exactly what happened and take the appropriate steps to address it.

We wanted to provide a brief clarification regarding the recent incident involving NIGHT.
The incident is isolated to the Wanchain Cardano–BNB bridge and does not involve the @MidnightNtwrk itself. Midnight's protocol, validator network, consensus, and core infrastructure remain secure and continue to operate normally.
This was a third-party bridge infrastructure incident affecting cross-chain transfers between Cardano and BNB Chain, rather than an issue with the NIGHT asset or the Midnight blockchain.
We are in close contact with Wanchain as they continue their investigation and response. Based on our assessment, we do not believe this incident changes the security or operational integrity of the Midnight network.
We remain confident in the resilience of the Midnight network and will continue to keep partners informed should there be any material developments.
🚨 Community Update:
We are aware of reports concerning an incident involving the Wanchain Cardano to BNB bridge affecting bridged NIGHT.
Based on the information currently available, this appears to relate to cross-chain bridge operations and not the @MidnightNtwrk itself. We are actively monitoring the situation and working with relevant partners to establish the facts.
We encourage the community to rely only on official updates and remain vigilant for phishing attempts or impersonation scams while investigations are ongoing.
One Team One Dream, Fam!
Let's hear it for the Nightforce community 👏
2,000+ new recruits have joined the Nightforce this year, helping grow the Midnight Discord community to nearly 50,000 members.
As the ecosystem continues to grow, so do the opportunities to lead. From regional leadership and content creation to community moderation, there's a place to make an impact.

NEWS: Emurgo is stepping down as one of the members of Cardano's PENTAD.
PENTAD is a union between IOG, CF, Midnight Foundation, Intersect and formerly Emurgo.
Their goal is to push Cardano with new integrations and other initiatives.
Shall we call it a TETRAD now?

It's not like I've been literally working on this topic for over 10 years of my life and launched a cryptocurrency that was number three on coinmarketcap with millions of users to deploy it. It's literally a crime in the Ethereum inner circles to mention Cardano. EUTXO is the biggest innovation of the smart contract world and Ethereum cannot mention it as they literally try to copy it.
Native UTXOs on Ethereum.
Payments should be one-shot objects, not permanent state.
Bitcoin got this right. Ethereum can bring the same idea to payments: prove existence from history, keep only a spent bit in state, and reduce permanent state by ~99.8%.

1/ A great day at the NYSE yesterday.
I had the opportunity to join @RemyBlaireNews on @FINTECHTVglobal and @JennSanasie and @dave_lavalle on @CoinDesk to discuss @MidnightNtwrk's partnership with Monument Bank, the growing momentum behind tokenization, and why privacy is becoming essential for institutional blockchain adoption.
GM.....I intend to create a guidebook to better understand the @MidnightNtwrk platform in Indonesian. It can also be translated into other local languages, so those interested in learning about Midnight will have a helpful resource. What do you think?
Another cool session with @IOHK_Charles this early morning...This is the benefit of being a @MidnightNtwrk Ambassador. Hey you can be the Ambassador too if you want. Let me know! I'll give you the link to register

🚨 Charles Hoskinson just dropped a subtle signal that most people are overlooking...
For those unfamiliar, Alpha Growth specializes in helping blockchain ecosystems attract liquidity, institutions, partnerships, and DeFi growth.
That's interesting because Cardano's next phase isn't just about technology anymore—it's about capital, adoption, and real-world usage.
And when you think about institutional DeFi, Midnight becomes impossible to ignore:
🔐 Privacy with compliance
🏦 Institutional-grade infrastructure
📊 Tokenized real-world assets
💵 Stablecoins
🤝 Enterprise adoption
If institutional capital is looking for a home in crypto, Midnight may be one of the few networks built specifically for that future.
Maybe it's nothing.
Maybe it's something much bigger.
Either way, I'm paying attention.

After writing numerous articles for @themidnightmagz, I'm thinking of taking things a step further by writing a book about @midnightntwrk for beginners. Midnight Network technology is the future for all of us, but it's meaningless to those who don't understand its essence.
Therefore, similar to my goal in building and running The Midnight Magazine, by writing a book that I hope will serve as a guide for beginners, I'll make it easier to get started with this technology. Please pray for me so that this intention of mine can come true.

Yesterday I sat with 50+ fellow Ambassadors, listening to @IOHK_Charles explain live why privacy is the future of blockchain.
Not your average call — this is one of the privileges of being a @MidnightNtwrk Ambassador (Nightforce).
