Every yes costs you something. Time. Energy. Focus. Learning when to say no is how you take it back. Life is simple. If you don’t set boundaries, someone else will set them for you. 🦾 #DadLife #lifelessons

When it comes to money, the first step is knowing your value & signing the right deal the first time! Too many people settle for less than what their work, skills, and time are actually worth. Don’t rush into agreements that undervalue you. But remember, earning it is only half the story. Once that money comes in, the goal isn’t just to hold onto it. It’s to grow it. As the @migos said - "You get the bag and fumble it, I get the bag and flip it and tumble it....YEA!!" Put money into places where it can grow, multiply, and go to work for you. Real financial freedom begins when your money starts carrying some of the workload. Because the long-term goal is to build a life where your money works just as hard as you do. Set Your Price & Live Your Life

@bcope51 my daughter and I just finished up a lecture series on financial literacy. We completed it as part of our home school curriculum. I have never seen her more engaged with a video series. Hats off to you for creating an engaging, entertaining, and educational series!

Today, this hit would cost me five figures and a 15-yard penalty. Back then, it was survival. It was the second preseason game. Every play was an interview. One rep closer to making the team… or one rep closer to hitting the couch, watching someone else live my dream. Friends and family drove in from all over. I saw them in the stands before kickoff and felt something unexpected: freedom. I’d already won. I had my village. That mindset changed everything. I played free. I took chances I hadn’t taken in years. I walked off the field knowing I’d done enough to earn at least one more week. The next week, I finished the drill against the Jaguars and cemented my spot making big plays on special teams and defense throughout the night. The lesson from football that applies to life: Do whatever you need to do to operate free mentally. That’s when you’re at your best. That’s when your God-given talents show up fully. That’s zone I'm staying in for life. #WashedUpWednesdays

The Protect College Sports Act sells out athletes and bails out the NCAA. If this bill becomes law, the same actors who exploited college athletes for decades will emerge with more power, and college athletes will emerge with less.

Made his own ESPN… respect!
“What Kept you up last night?” I LOVED tackling when my body still allowed me to do it! 😂 So I pay close attention to it. Early in the season, DBs gotta understand space, angles, approach & leverage. I picked 4 plays from Week 1 to break down, & @FredTaylor helped me bring the tackling mindset to life. Wish this would’ve helped me get HIM on the ground when we played… ‘cause that’s STILL what keeps me up at night! 😂 @Thepivot “The Pivot Sports” #ThePivot #ThePivotSports #Tackling #NFLfilms youtu.be/WsTBOXN4f9c

Wondering how much $$ the greatest athletes of our time are owed by the NCAA & hoping they speak up to protect younger versions of themselves from the coaches and leaders in college sports trying to get the government to put a maximum wage on how much athletes can make. @AthletesOrg
The Protect College Sports Act would have major implications for college athletes. Athletes.org published seven reasons to oppose the PCSA, including concerns over athlete compensation and institutional control. Full story: athletes.org/news/pcsa-seven…

A live look at the counsel advising the @NCAA on legal battles it should stand ten toes down on that CLEARLY have no shot of winning in court Then, charging them millions of dollars in legal fees to help fight the same battles they have already lost bc it was ruled ILLEGAL🚨‼️

Please stop believing that the NCAA, its conferences and schools are victims of a "bad" court or judge. If you have a friend who shoplifts...and they consistently wind up in court for shoplifting...is it the judges' fault that they convict them of the crime?
1

No...we all would have to tell our friend to STOP doing illegal sh*t and you wouldn't be in court. The @NCAA wants to play victim and have Congress legalize its ILLEGAL behavior and that would be an unprecedented overreach Athletes keep fighting for the same rights they have 🦾

Fair point.👇 Why are athletes the only individuals in college athletics who should have pay capped and regulated by federal law? If costs are truly not sustainable, everyone involved should share the burden of ensuring sustainability.
I read this letter from the NABC and had a visceral reaction . . . In 2025, schools owed $228 million in buyouts to fired coaches (a record by nearly $100 million). Since 2004, schools have paid more than $1.1 billion to coaches not to coach. Thirteen head coaches are making at least $9 million this season. The NABC's very high-minded letter says the sport is on "a trajectory that cannot be sustained." Seems that way. But why ignore the elephant in the room -- obscene amounts of money are going to coaches to sit on their couches? The PCSA has a great deal to say about what athletes may earn. On coaches it contains exactly one provision, and §110 doesn't touch a dollar. In response, it seems quite reasonable for athletes to ask for an amendment to PCSA which provides: (1) A permanent cap on coaching compensation, set as a percentage of athletic revenue. (2) A clearinghouse reviewing every coaching agreement over $600 for valid business purpose and fair market value before funds are disbursed. (3) One penalty-free coaching move; a second costs a season. (4) A five-week window, opening seven days after the final game, during which a coach may be contacted by another school. Outside it, tampering. (5) Coaches' agents capped at five percent, with a public registry and decertification. (6) A limited antitrust exemption, so none of it can be challenged in court. Every one of those is lifted from the bill. Only the subject changes. The NABC closes by saying that "our athletes, coaches, universities and fans simply deserve better." I agree with that sentence more than the letter does. If the problem is unsustainable cost, reform should start with the largest cost. And if the answer is that Congress has no business setting private employment terms -- that's a fair answer. It's also an argument against the rest of the bill.

A serial antitrust violator is asking Congress for an antitrust exemption. Let that sink in. When given the opportunity to be judge, jury and executioner over college athletes livelihoods and careers, the NCAA will abuse it. The PCSA should be DOA!
The Protect College Sports Act is not the solution college sports needs. It would protect the current system while limiting athlete rights and avoiding the need for meaningful negotiation. Read the full statement: athletes.org/news/the-pcsa-s…

Another bill proposed to limit comp for college athletes with the guise of “saving” college sports — by stepping directly on the athletes themselves. If I’m a college athlete, a parent, or someone who genuinely cares about athlete success, I’m asking one simple question...
The Protect College Sports Act is being marketed as a solution to stabilize college sports, but in reality protects schools and NCAA leadership over athletes. Read the full statement on athletes.org.

Why do all of these “solutions” target the athlete’s plate? They want to limit how much athletes can earn, restrict where they can transfer, control how long they can play and reduce their freedom to make decisions about their own future.

None of these bills focus on limiting how much everyone else makes off the backs of athletes generating billions annually. The truth is if athletes weren't worth the 💰 people are willing to pay them, then nobody would pay it. The NCAA wants to 🧢 it. Congress is helping them.
