How are we not capable of setting our own rules?
Even small local bakeries that never trade with the EU will have to follow EU rules on ingredients, packaging, and nutritional information. Industry compliance costs are estimated at £2 to £3 billion. They will also face additional compliance costs every time the EU changes its rules. UK taxpayers will also have to pay the EU for its policy work to create and enforce these rules on UK firms. This could be up to £3 billion a year, every year.

🚨 82% of those that responded to the Labour Government’s consultation on their new immigration policies… were foreign. Including refugees, asylum seekers, visa holders & applicants. Foreigners have shaped our immigration policies. Source - gov.uk/ 🤯🤦🏻‍♂️

So the CO-OP supermarket think they can get the right weight in their bags of kale by adding little bits of stalks!!! Awesome stuff! Not seen this before and I buy the product quite frequently. I’ll have a check next time before buying.

It is Islamophobia Awareness Month. Time to remember the Manchester Arena attack. Where an Islamic terrorist murdered 22 during an Ariana Grande concert killing. A security guard saw him as suspect - but was too concerned about being branded Islamophobic to take real action.

Not the update video i was intending to do today but this has boiled me. These people are so far away from reality it’s mad. Hence the raw language but it adds emphasis. 🫣😡 Please share with your MPs just to try help them understand that business owners are not just sat in the holiday home watching escape to the country drinking wine and counting cash.

This is Emma Reynolds MP, Chief Secretary to the Treasury and Labour Treasury Minister. So the Government thinks that if you own a cafe, restaurant, pub, shop, gym, salon, etc You aren't a "working person" Just let that sink in...

My son is an electrician; he has a small company, employing a few people. He works on the tools, as well as chases contracts and manages workload. And carries all the stress. His company is only worth its current contracts. He is exactly the kind of working person our economy depends on: I thought Labour understood this.
“I don't think employers are working people.” ~ Labour Chief Secretary to the Treasury, Emma Reynolds MP. And there is. A Labour government politician saying the quiet part out loud. This is what Labour really think. They have an inverted snobbery and disregard towards self employed workers and private sector businesses owners.

The concept of “operating at a loss” only exists in the Public sector. In the Private sector, you operate at a profit or your business fails. This is why people who work in the Public sector, should never be in control of the rules around Private enterprise.

Zarządzam natychmiastową przerwę w czynnościach Prezesa Rady Ministrów Donalda Tuska, w tym w pełnieniu nadzoru nad wszelkimi służbami mundurowymi i służbami specjalnymi. Liczę, że pismo zostanie potraktowane tak samo poważnie, jak ten świstek pani Korwin-Piotrowskiej, która w taki sam sposób zastąpiła prezesa TK pod dyktando bandy Tuska.

Yesterday I was talking with an economist. A genuinely sharp guy. We ended up agreeing on a conclusion that isn't comfortable: Europe and the West are down to two scenarios. Scenario one: communism gets defeated within the next 5 years. We finally do what has to be done on immigration and on the economy. It will be hard, really hard. But better a horrible ending than horror without end. Scenario two: communism wins. And right behind it, most likely, Islamic tyranny. Not in 50 years. Soon after. There is no in-between. No "it'll sort itself out," no lukewarm third way where everyone keeps their little comfort zone. What fascinates me is that the vast majority of people don't see this at all. They're living through this period as if it were just another political cycle. But there's good news. The people who've been sounding the alarm for 20 years were right. They were called crazy, doomers, prophets of decline. And every month, reality proves them a little more right. The faster people realize this, the further ahead we get. Waking up is already half the battle.

I don’t know about any other small business owner but my business plan is literally to survive a labour gov, if they get in for a second term? That’s it, we’re done, toast

They hate us. They want businesses to pay tax on money *they have not yet earnt*… How do seasonal businesses do this? In Lincs the two biggest sectors are tourism and agriculture. Both seasonal. For both income is very focused around certain times. The idea an arable farmer, a seaside hotel, attraction or holiday park has 1/4 of its annual income by April is laughably ignorant. Except it’s a deadly serious threat to the businesses’ survival. This government hates business.
The new changes to drag forward income tax charges mean that many if not most people will be paying income tax on money they haven't earned yet. Very few business have 1/12 of their profit available to distribute in April. Even if it's quarterly, how many businesses have 1/4 of their annual profit in the bank by the end of June? If the Treasury knew anything about seasonality or billing cycles, they'd never have proposed this change.

These are the stats John Healey doesn’t want you to read. Unemployment will rise to 5% in 2027. The tax burden is going up AGAIN to the highest since WW2. By 2031 we’ll be spending £160bn/year on debt interest alone – up £36bn/year. Borrowing forecasts for the next 5 years have risen £65bn since March. Households will be worse off in every single year of the five-year forecast than they were in March. It’ll take until 2029 to get back to 2019 levels of prosperity. Growth will be abysmal. GDP per capita grows less than 1% in 2027. It’ll peak at less than 2% per year, despite the AI revolution. The national debt will stay above 95% of GDP. We are on a fiscal knife-edge. Britain is Broke. Britain needs Reform.
