Some treat it as proof he is executing a 50 year globalist plan. Scientists, economists, businessmen, & former officials sat around talking about overpopulation, resource limits, pollution, & collapse. Their 1972 book “Limits to Growth,” used computer models to warn that if growth kept going the same way, the system would break In 1974 they followed it with “Mankind at the Turning Point,” the second report to the Club of Rome. Mihajlo Mesarovic & Eduard Pestel built a more detailed model that split the world into 10 regions instead of treating Earth as 1 blob. The idea was regional cooperation on food, energy, environment, & money so countries would not keep competing themselves into a ditch. 1 of those regions, often labeled Region 1 or North America, put the United States, Canada, & Greenland together The 10region sketch was a modeling exercise,.
