🚨Big Update!🚨 I'm seeking $130,000 damages against @UUtah for multiple breaches of contract after they 1) placed me on probation for criticizing a pro BLM reading assignment, and 2) suspended me for *assault *after I passed out fliers about an anti white racist professor. Mailed my Notice of Claim to the Utah Attorney General's office today.🙂 ➡️Suspended for Passing Out Fliers The following are the bases on which I was "convicted" of violating university policy prohibiting "Threatening, endangering, or damaging the health or safety of any member of the University community or any other person." The rationale by Associate Dean of Students Melanie Lee is so convoluted that I color coded it to group logical themes together that she scattered around randomly. 1. (blue) Melanie Lee falsely claimed that I *confirmed* that I spoke to the professor with "intended volume beyond conversation levels." She has no basis whatsoever for this -- It's a lie. The clip is not taken out of context-- the only time Melanie Lee asked me to "confirm" anything is if I spoke to the professor loud enough that she could hear me. That is what she means when she says I "confirmed" that I spoke beyond conversational levels. She concluded I assaulted the professor because I spoke to her loud enough that she could hear me. Fortunately I recorded the incident. Listen for yourself if my volume is beyond ordinary. (note, this clip is edited to remove the professor's name and to amplify at one point) 2. (yellow) Melanie Lee repeatedly stressed the fact that I didn't make reference to film fight choreography in reference to various actions. For some reason she thinks this is really important and somehow proves that I committed assault. 3. (green) Melanie Lee notes that I was on probation at the time for criticizing a pro BLM reading assignment during a mandatory discussion about the reading assignment. This is true but it doesn't prove I am guilty of the charges. 4. (green again because I ran out of colors) Melanie Lee concludes that I was attempting to intimidate the professor because I asked the presenter, a martial artist at a martial arts presentation, if he knew my instructor, on the basis of having trained at the same academy. She says I chose "to describe my martial arts experience" after the presenter asked us if we had martial arts experience, and concludes I assaulted the professor because I didn't reference film choreography. Go ahead and listen to the clip if it's intimidating, let alone an assault. 5. Alleged to have "forcefully" distributed the fliers. Whatever that means, I distributed them on the tables because I didn't want to interrupt the main presenter, and the two students present who I asked about after the fact said they weren't even aware anything was happening.
