As Transport Minister he can have the MIT recognize the Dutch RDW approval for Tesla Assisted Driving nationally other countries already did this under the existing EU framework (UN R-171 + Article 39 exemptions in Reg. (EU) 2018/858).
@CarloCalenda even filed a parliamentary interrogation (4-02971, 28 April 2026) asking him to prioritize it, open a technical dialogue with Tesla and RDW, and speed up the process.
