My debut MG Bringing back Kay-Kay comes out next month in the UK with @WalkerBooksUK. A mystery-adventure, a sibling love-story, it's also a tribute to India.
Here are some very special Indian things that feature in the book. #BringingBackKayKay

Some books are books. Other books are little pieces of their author's heart. @DarbonMel put her heart out there, and I'm bursting with joy to see Maudie and Jake getting the love they deserve.
So proud of you, Mel. What an achievement x

Had a lovely time wandering around Oxford with my new Golden Egg colleagues, pretending to be Lyra in His Dark Materials.
More of that kind of thing, please.
A beautiful book, and we hope everyone loves it as much as we do! ๐
Above all it is gratitude I feel, as I share this news. To write for children is nothing but an absolute privilege and the purest of joys, esp. so in the current times. Thank you @WalkerBooksUK @skeetermeeter @Emdashing_
