THE INVOICE OF FEAR This Hasan execution debate has exposed something ugly in us. We keep talking about what the islamist enemy might think. "What if they make him a martyr! What if they use the footage! What if they get angry! What if they hate us more!" Take this from a GWOT veteran sick of hearing this shit: They already hate us. That is the part nobody wants to say out loud because it makes the whole ritual look ridiculous. You don't negotiate a wolf out of hunger by lowering your fucking voice. If fear of terrorist reaction changes how you carry out a lawful sentence, then they are no longer merely your enemy. They are governing you. They own you. That is real power, isn't it? Not theirs on paper. Theirs over YOU, average American. And this is the same weakness we carried into the Global War on Terror on your behalf. We went across the world to fight men who understood violence perfectly while we spent twenty years trying to prove to those same men that we were "nice". Restrictive rules, endless hesitation, leaders promoted for avoiding headlines. Troops asked to close with an enemy while an entire civilization stood behind them whispering, “Be careful how this looks.” Then we wondered why the war dragged on, and on and on. Where has this weak approach gotten us? The military gets its people, its authority, its limits, and eventually its courage from the country that sends it. From YOU! So here is the invoice, America: >You wanted the sheepdog, but you were embarrassed by his teeth. >You wanted victory, but recoiled from what victory looks like. >You wanted the enemy defeated, but remained terrified of offending him. >You wanted warriors strong enough to kill for you and gentle enough to never disturb your conscience. That bill eventually came due. It was paid in deployments, amputations, and flag draped coffins. In men and women coming home older than the years they'd lived. And now, after all of that, I still hear Americans worrying about whether a terrorist might feel inspired by watching another terrorist receive a lawful sentence. You either think western civilization is superior to theirs or you don't. A nation that lets its enemies decide which consequences are too frightening to show has already surrendered a piece of sovereignty to them. A big piece. Power is the rent civilization pays to remain unmolested in a violent world. And fear is what you pay when you refuse the bill. America, GWOT veterans are pleading with you: wake the hell up. Stop acting like men who already want you dead can be appeased by your fear. You’re not preserving peace. You’re just advertising weakness.
Van and I agree — live streaming the execution would make the terrorist a martyr. Trump would be right to reverse Hegseth on this and it would show excellent judgment on his part. The radical Islamic terrorist deserves the punishment but not the martyrdom.

Oh look…all the non-Christians are telling Christians what REAL Christianity is! Never take these people seriously.

And just like that. Nobody talking about the Cornell 7 anymore.

Everyone loves civilization until civilization asks them to enforce the rules that keep barbarism outside the gate. The safest people in history have developed the strangest contempt for the very mechanisms that made them safe. You cannot demand protection from evil while treating every instrument capable of stopping evil as morally suspect. The hypocrisy of the soft West is wanting consequences to exist somewhere, somehow, without ever having to look at them. Public execution after due process is righteous, moral, and has a deterring effect. We have become so soft and weak on crime that any accountability feels like fascism. All of the fittest genetics in human history have brought you here to see this post here, now. You’ve descended from dangerous men. For God’s sake, act like it.

“Executing Nidal Hasan will only encourage terrorist recruitment!!” Yeah well, so will executing him privately, or not executing him, or keeping him in jail, or letting him go. Pretty much anything will “increase their recruiting” because they are at war with us. Grow up.

Personally, since that jihadist killed a pregnant woman begging for her life, I’d be fine watching him be thrown into the ocean with a millstone around his neck.

“Muslims are only mad at America because of our foriegn policy!” Yeah I remember when Islamists started enslaving our sailors in the 1700’s because they were mad about our air force base in Qatar.

If you're a GWOT vet struggling with today, I want you to remember that you did your job. You took the fight to the enemy; you kept us safe here for over 20 years. I will never forget, nor will I let my future generations forget. God bless you all.

One year ago we lost one of the best of us. A father. A husband. A friend. A future president. RIP to the great Charlie Kirk.

Unfortunately, this is how you lose the midterms. The mass majority of voters will vote the other way because of costs and nothing more.
Global oil cost per barrel reaches $100 for the first time in months.

Same thing the last time I went to a Dick’s Sporting Goods for a simple polo. $110 for one. Walked right out.
Hey @Nike and @DICKS… If you’re wondering why y’all’s quarterly earnings stunk and your stock is getting pummeled… This might be one of the reasons… I’m on a business trip and forgot to bring a simple workout T-shirt. I found a Dicks Sporting goods store close to me, walked in and headed for the Nike athletic wear section. I picked it up and looked on the price tag…. $60. Sixty bucks!? For a simple. One color, polyester t-shirt. Y’all….It’s a T-SHIRT. A cheap, little polyester t-shirt that cost you around $5 for some 12 year old kid in Vietnam to make. For context. I make a pretty good living. Money isn’t a huge concern for my wife and I. I saw that price and asked the sales lady if it was a mistake. She said it wasn’t. I walked out the door. It’s a Nike T-shirt. Not a Ralph Lauren Polo or some higher end brand. Here’s the crazier part. I drove down the street to @Dillards and guess what the non discounted Ralph Lauren Polo T-shirt’s were? $55. Maybe it’s just me. But you’re NIKE. There’s no way…I mean NO WAY, I’m buying a polyester t-shirt for $60.

God will not be kind to this evil. Vengeance is his.
To legalize aborting a baby right up to the moment it’s born is one of the most insanely radical laws of all time. Basically nowhere else on earth is this permitted. We’re just institutionalizing child sacrifice now.

Best part about battling the spread of Islam is that they’re not actually praying to anything. Maybe a demon at best. In the end they all lose if they don’t come to know Jesus.
