Bro, this is the shit I'm talking about. These writers have to find some way to squeeze in "White Men are the problem" dialogue. This is the writers injecting their own personal grudge into our shows and they wonder why people check out. Let's be honest here, despite many of us partake in the comic book hobby. It's white males that make up majority of the demographics when it comes to western comics and superheroes. These are the last demographic you want to keep pissing on, if you want any of these projects to succeed. This should be obvious, black people wouldn't support any film and especially a comic film or every tv show where there are a bunch of white people gathering around a table talking about Black people being a problem to society etc. No group would stand for that shit. They use minorities as pawns to push this kind of messaging. So whenever a minority appear on screen, you don't know what kind of character you are getting. Will they actually be well written character or will they be a mouthpiece to spew whatever social justice message the writers want them to say. This is everywhere, even in our video games. These characters aren't characters anymore, they are vehicles for social messaging. I roll my eyes every time I see and hear shit like this. The funny thing about this is, don't be surprised that most of the diverse staff that write this nonsense are all probably married and have children by white men. Make that make sense.
