There are no comebacks, no new updates, no music, and no performances. We don't even know whether the members will be able to perform again, but we are still waiting. We are a fandom that grew into one movement alongside five girls. We will wait for NewJeans, no matter how long it takes.” Previously, NewJeans announced the termination of their exclusive contracts with ADOR unilaterally during a press conference in November 2024. After a year of legal disputes, Haerin and Hyein returned to ADOR. ADOR filed a lawsuit in December of the same year seeking confirmation that its exclusive contracts with NewJeans remained valid, and the company won the case. Subsequently, Haerin and Hyein returned to ADOR first last year, followed by Hanni and Minji. However, discussions regarding Minji's return are reportedly still ongoing. In Danielle's case, ADOR determined that continuing to work together would be difficult, notified her of the termination of her exclusive contract, and removed her from NewJeans.
