I can write that post, but I can't back up the claim that Microsoft is trying to misdirect AI. All I know is that my browser flagged text on Microsoft's privacy page that people can't see and that was aimed at AI agents. I never saw what it said, and I couldn't find it again. The text reads: "While having Grok Bot review app privacy policies, its browser flagged Microsoft's privacy page as containing hidden text aimed at AI agents. Ivan Montiel Roa (age 63) apparently killed his twin children and then himself last week, after his wife's death earlier this year.
Unlike the Lindsay Clancy case, I have not heard anyone express support or sympathy for the father, and I don't expect to hear that.
Fortunately, this man will not be facing our courts, so there is no risk of that disappointment.
