Why is @narendramodi needed for inauguration of every single metro line in this country? Ridiculous.
With the WPL-5 coming & women's cricket far from the fringes, can @BCCI please rename their tournaments? How about a Jhulan Goswami Trophy or Mithali Raj Trophy? Instead of senior women's T20 Trophy and senior women's one-day Trophy? Genuine suggestion. @lonsaikia @MithunManhas
This is a superb story.
Three batting sessions a day, 25-minute skill blocks and a lesson in patience. Himanshu bhaiya opens up on the rebuild behind Harmanpreet Kaur’s return to form.

It would be disappointing if India A don't declare overnight and press for victory. 284 is a big enough lead. Over to Kamboj, Nabi & co. Incredible knock from Padikkal to set it up.
How do people live in and around HSR? Such pathetic roads, terrible infra, but rentals are Dubai-like. #Bengaluru
We've started making a big deal out of teams arriving and departing from airports. Why? Okay to do it once in a while. But for every single game? Being on tour gives you that footage, sure. But what is anyone gaining from it?
Every Ranji season, I wonder just how different Manisankar Murasingh's career would've panned out had he played for one of the bigger teams. A Tripura legend. Both with bat and ball. A proper seam-bowling allrounder.
Sir. If you look beyond Mumbai & Karnataka, you’ll notice a name called Yash Rathod. And a little east, Abhimanyu Easwaran. Why stop at just Sarfaraz?
Cricket View: After a lean first Ranji match, Sarfaraz Khan doing what he does best: score centuries. 100 for Mumbai in game 2 as his first class average remains well over 60. And yet no selector or @BCCI will tell us why he isn’t good enough to be even picked for India A weeks after being called up as the reserve batter for Sri Lanka. And sadly it seems most of our cricket journalists won’t ask the qs either: don’t tell me now that even cricket journalists live in fear! (The other batsman who has hugely impressed is Ravichandran Smaran of Karnataka who has at least been picked for India A. I hope he gets his chance in the national team soon too)🙏
On Chinmay Sutar, a late bloomer from Mumbai who made 400* for Mizoram (2nd highest individual score in Ranji history). cricinfo.com/story/ranji-tro…
A seam-bowling allrounder from Karnataka announces himself. Maiden first-class hundred for Manvanth Kumar. Came into bat at 187/7 v Saurashtra. Since then, he has scored 100 of Karnataka's 113 runs. #RanjiTrophy
Avoid NICE Road near the Kanakapura Road exit/entry. Massive fire accident. Queues stretching for kilometres. Huge pile-up. Feel for those stuck there.
The rain has thinned considerably. This is where cricket being a rigid sport doesn't help. Literally 2-3 minutes after the call-off, it's down to a mere drizzle.
Excitement in the air in Bengaluru. Not for the cricket, but for the rain that’s gonna cripple the city. And for the mensinkai bajji & coffee that’s gonna be made at home.
Ominous signs
Rain risk in Bangalore's decider match 🌧
India v West Indies match in the evening would be affected by rains and thunderstorms.
Chances are very high for moderate to heavy showers in evening followed by sustain light to moderate showers during match duration.
One should expect reduced over game with feeble chances of washout as well.
More clarity by evening if it is going to be washout or rain clouds will let the match happen for limited duration!
