What’s happening in the AI-powered reverse engineering and decompilation is absolutely insane. Pretty soon all software will be de facto open-source.
AI is coming for everything and everyone.
Looking for a design job in Berlin? Now you can get real time alerts via Telegram: t.me/uxjobs_berlin
At @cherrydockjobs, we're tracking 100+ companies based in Berlin. When we find jobs on their websites, they land on Telegram right away.
We started a job board for @LisboaUX and quickly realised our work and technology could help designers anywhere.
Now, we're venturing into our own brand and life with @cherrydockjobs. Hello World. – at Berlin, Germany
Growing up I was the only person in class with a different sounding name and cultural background. Sometimes it felt discouraging and I didn't feel seen. I still feel that way sometimes. If you have insecurities that come from feeling different than the people you see every day at work and in the tech scene, you're not alone.
The folks at codebar help people from less represented groups improve their software engineering skills in a safe space. There are free workshops every month here in Berlin and very smart and kind mentors who can help you navigate and expand your career opportunities.
Come join us at Pleo's office this Thursday evening from 18:30 onwards. We'll dive deep into your projects, fix your deployment issues, talk about AI and algorithms.
You can sign up for the October 1st event here:

Learn how to spot hidden flaws in everyday reasoning:
logicola.org/blog/informal-f…
In a world gobbled up by AI, where more people have access to a mobile phone than safely managed sanitation, fallacies are everpresent.
Knowing how to identify logical fallacies can sharpen your critical thinking and protect you from bad reasoning.

Introducing Corgy: product demos without the screen recorder.
You describe the demo. Corgy drives your own browser, records the run, and turns it into a narrated video. No retakes, no stray notifications, no cursor wandering off.
Watch it work 👇

Help! This semester, I'm planning to ask my 125 students to build their own code hardness as the project for my take on the Missing Semester. Any idea of how to get free tokens for them to do the project? In Portugal, we don't have .edu accounts, so I need a domain whitelisting.

The loser has more in common with the winner than with the person sitting on the sidelines.
The winner and the loser each had the courage to try. Both risked embarrassment. Both were willing to face uncertainty. Both were stubborn enough to continue.
Success is endurance in disguise. It belongs to the person who can absorb the losses without absorbing the identity of "loser." It's the courage to start — and to stick with it — that is the real separator. Results tend to find the person who stays in the game.
The sidelines are safe, but sterile. Nothing grows there.
I'm hosting a private breakfast in Berlin for anyone interested in talking about the scientific method applied in product management/development.

We worked tirelessly for 2 years to bring you a new LogiCola. Read more about what changed:

I'm releasing a couple of articles on the computer science and research that went into designing @LogicolaThree from the ground up.
If you're interested in logic, linguistics, AI, philosophy, mathematics, design and learning theory, read the first one: logicola.org/blog/the-new-lo…
I have poured my soul into @LogicolaThree. The product is now used in universities across 3 continents. Today, I'm releasing a new design language inspired from what I found reverse-engineering software from 1987 (MS-DOS) and 2008.
In this article I go deeper into the design experiments I made with some help from AI tools and built on top of the knowledge from really smart people. This is my most exciting release because it mixes my computer science, design and product management background. And I think people who want to craft good software or who are navigating edtech will find it interesting!
Thank you @lauriewired, @emilkowalski for sharing your knowledge openly and for helping me get here.

We started teaching a class at Nova University in Lisbon to build a talent pipeline for Product Management in Europe as we grow our hub office here.
50 students in the first version last year, a dozen of whom became interns this summer, and we just had the first batch accept full-time offers.
Next term starts in a few weeks with another 50 kids. Excited to someday say "hey, I knew them!" when these students go on to become founders and leaders in Cloudflare and elsewhere.
We really do mean it when we say we are committed to helping grow the ecosystem of builders in Portugal (and Europe). Lot more work to do.
I'll be in Berlin throughout the month of September. Looking to meet friendly faces, but also to get to know likeminded people while I'm in town. Do you know anyone I should meet?
Here's some of the things I'm currently exploring and that I'd love to talk more about over coffee:
1. Designing social science experiments and borrowing their methodology for product management.
2. Formal logic and anything around it.
3. The history and future of databases.
4. Reverse engineering products and software to learn how it was built.
5. Software preservation.
6. Edtech beyond AI wrappers. Using technology to improve learning outcomes and education. Tailored learning.
7. Building tools with AI to expand brand design expression.
8. Pairing colors and creating complex systems and brands based on algorithms.
9. Social psychology applied in product design and product management.
10. The future of work (how will jobs and careers in tech change?).
Hey @vincentweisser, just saw someone with a @PrimeIntellect t-shirt on the street! Are you around? :)
