Always proud to represent my country, and honoured to present my credentials to Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier yesterday. A very special day, even more so because I was able to share it with my family and colleagues.
At a ceremony held at the President's official seat on the Spreebogen yesterday, the new Ambassador of Cyprus to Germany, Mrs Charis Christodoulidou, presented her Letters of Credence to Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier.
Ambassador Christodoulidou conveyed Cyprus' appreciation for Germany's longstanding principled stance on the Cyprus issue and her commitment to further strengthening bilateral cooperation.
We wish her every success in her important mission!
