i gave 5.6 sol access to my camera roll and had it extract pictures of every piece of clothing i own from my photos
then, told it to find new outfits for me and render them on me with gpt-image!
its kinda cool to see your entire wardrobe in a collection like this

i gave astra a robot, a paint brush, and a camera then asked it to paint the golden gate bridge in real life!
it figured out how to control the robot, and progressively got better throughout its attempts. the timelapse is sick

we're clearly entering a new era of robotics, and i can't wait to see what's next!
you should probably 3d-print an open source robot arm and start tinkering! the huggingface SO-101 arm i used here is a great start (needs a better gripper).
there's so much you can do now. i think that so many people will have these cheap robot arms in their homes very soon!!
for the debate about art which will inevitably come up -- i feel like this is algorithmic art, similar to how pen plotter is.
i don't think this will replace artists (certainly doesn't intend to), because there is a lot more to art than being painted with a brush(?)

I scraped 100 million pictures of kids' drawings, and made them searchable so you can see the trends of the last 20 years walzr.com/kids-trends
its instructed to plan out 1 minute of actions and monitor it in the background to make adjustments as it goes
after each run (and sometimes during) i'd give it a bit of feedback on how it was doing and sometimes ask it "what can you do better?" and have it update its own instructions
i also gave it a few anchor points, but on future attempts it figured out and adjusted the calibration itself which was so cool to see. look at it self-calibrate and correct for the error 🤯
