The issue with the BCS was the access, not the computers.
These are FAR BETTER rankings:
• UCLA, ND properly ranked
• no 2-loss SEC tms in Top 7 (CFP has 2)
• Wake, USC up multiple spots
It should’ve always been the BCS.
The top four are identical and the same 25 teams made both lists, but there’s plenty of disagreement here!
For the first time this season, let's take a look at a side-by-side of our simulated BCS and the @CFBPlayoff committee rankings:

Here's the SEC's entire shtick:
-10 SEC teams are ranked to begin the season
-An unranked team beats one of those ranked teams
-"Wow, the unranked team must be good because they just beat a ranked team, so we should rank them now"
-10 SEC teams still ranked
-Repeat

Couple of things that upset me about this
A) it’s not holding. He chops his arm down and he lost his balance
B) this is very important. Holding is only supposed to be called if it could effect the play. The DE is double teamed and the ball is gone at the time of the “holding”. He’s nowhere near the QB.
Just an all time bad call. It’s an official looking to be part of the game.

There are so many amazing college football traditions, but one of our favorites is the @uiowa Hawkeye Wave to the pediatric patients. WE'RE NOT CRYING YOU'RE CRYING! 😭 @ESPNCFB @CollegeGameDay

They got rid of that after one year because the NFL refused to let the egos of the refs be damaged. There were some really blatant no-calls/calls that stood due to it.

When the ref said "Unsportsmanlike Conduct: Simulating using the restroom" I thought he was making stuff up.
He was not.

Ryan Day said Legend Bey tweaked his ankle early, which is why he left the game and didn’t return after his lone carry. He’s hoping to get him back next week.
Bey seemed in good spirits postgame, signing autographs.

POV you're at the Woody on Sun Sept. 13th:
Film session has concluded and there is silence in the room. All of the sudden, you hear an echo come from the back of the room:
"What did you learn though?"
The prodigal son Mitchell Melton has returned and he's demanding answers.

There was once a great coach of mine that would go into halftime and tell us “NOBODY SAID THIS GAME HAD TO BE CLOSE!” lol love you coach @CoachUrbanMeyer

Every time Ryan Day has a loss like this I tell myself “well at least he learned from this” but he continually makes the same mistakes!
22’ vs Georgia- 14 point lead
19’ vs Clemson -16 point lead
25’ Indiana -7 point lead
24’ ND nearly blows 31-7 lead
When will Ryan Day learn?

After Indiana won the National Championship during the offseason Curt Cignetti said he doesn't take the foot off the gas because it sends the wrong message to the team. It creates complacency. As good as a coach as Ryan Day is, he's taken his foot off the gas wayyyy to much.
