“I can’t believe Haley Stevens endorsed Abdul’s Republican opponent. She was only supposed to do that implicitly through months of Islamophobic innuendo and antisemitism smears.” -every liberal news network

this would’ve been a perfect gay halloween costume and it’s actually cruel of her to pull a stunt like this after the holiday
NEW: We just spoke exclusively with Congresswoman Haley Stevens at a polling place in Birmingham Michigan as she came to cast her ballot for Republican Mike Rogers. She told us she’s here to vote with her mother and that she still believes Democrats will win the majority, “It's the people's day. And I told this to our next speaker of the house, Hakeem Jeffries: It's Majority Makers Day.”
I asked if given the backlash she’s receiving from her Rogers endorsement, whether she feels it was worth it and she told me “Absolutely. Voting is always worth it, right?”

it’s a shame the Sign O’ The Times movie isn’t really especially popular or widely seen because that’s one of the most perfect concert films ever made and watching it in a good setup (especially in a theater) will immediately convince you that Prince was That Guy

The right-wing Anakin posting does make a lot of sense as it combines many of the Right’s core preoccupations: getting groomed; killing your wife; working for an insane, octogenarian tyrant; being hated by your children; losing and dying

He answered that question so good, the guy legit couldn’t counter it, he just stammers and Meandami fries him with “you’re smarter than that to believe that bullshit”, which makes him reconsider lol

Several figures here aren’t federal results or NY-specific. The $472B combines US wide pledges: Micron's $250B is nationwide (NY site $100B) Anthropic's $50B covers TX and NY. The 48% murder drop is from NY's state run GIVE program (28 departments, Jan – May 2026).

I want to thank Haley Stevens for so succinctly destroying every centrist talking point that's been rammed down our throats for the last 6 months.

THE APPOINTMENT's fusion of nightmarish dream logic and domestic psychodrama is as cozily enveloping as horror gets.

You’re throwing your money away if you pay to see this format. Worst possible format. Slightly more tolerable if you’re pretty close to the screen and can’t see the rest of the audience all lit up and even so, the other screens are actively distracting

people who are too young to remember a world before letterboxd really don't understand. it's been the most significant positive force for cinephilia of the century. for all its faults, it has completely changed film culture for the better
