🔥 Captain Picard vs Admiral Dougherty!
"How many people does it take, Admiral, before it becomes wrong? Hmm? A thousand? Fifty thousand? A million? How many people does it take, Admiral?!"
One of Sir Patrick Stewart's best #StarTrek Moments! 💔

rest in peace javits frimpong. he was a 15 year old boy from ghana who was killed. his father described him as a shy and quiet kid. he had only been in america for a year. I get so emotional looking at this picture of him. he’s so young. sending love and prayers to his family.

The sounds Avery Brooks can make are astounding. Whenever you think you have seen all his tricks he finds yet another way to enunciate every syllable of a common word

my favorite Sisko moment is from like episode 1 or 2 when he’s eating lunch with Jadzia Dax and they are talking about the different ways you can cook some root or food or something and he says “fricasseed!” with an intonation and delivery that I’ve literally never seen repeated

i wish parents understood how mentally draining this is to a kid. it does nothing but lead to them being adults who have a fear of failure and think their life is meaningless/over when said failure happens

this pos abused and exploited multiple underaged boys and his response to the in depth investigative report published by the Atlantic was to smear the journalists as homophobic. Fuck him and fuck his using Patrick Stewart’s death to try and score some pr points
Bryan Singer remembers Patrick Stewart in a tribute:
"It’s been a while since I last posted, but Patrick Stewart's passing has brought back decades of memories, and I wanted to share a few candid photographs from our time together.
"First, my heart goes out to his wonderful wife, Sunny.
"I could never recount all the experiences Patrick and I shared, both professionally and personally, in a single post. He was far more than a cast member and a friend. He was a teacher.
"Every time I watched Patrick approach a role, whether onstage or on set, I learned something. His command of language, his understanding of character, the precision with which he could deliver an emotion or change the pace of a scene. He possessed a grace and confidence that only a lifetime devoted to the craft could produce, and he made even the most difficult performances seem effortless.
"But beyond his extraordinary talent, Patrick was also a wonderfully fun and adventurous man.
"One memory still makes me laugh. Knowing what an enormous 'Star Trek' fan I was, Patrick invited me to dinner at his home. What he neglected to mention was that William Shatner would be joining us. I completely freaked out! Patrick knew exactly what he was doing.
"There were so many moments like that over the years, and I wish I could share them all.
"I feel fortunate to have known Patrick, to have learned from him, and to have called him my friend. I will cherish those memories for the rest of my life.
"He will be deeply missed."

there's a certain really awful genre of user on here whose idea of pro-palestinian activism starts and ends with finding excuses to call celebrities zionists

Mind you he’s literally addressing the wall as an issue and condemning the people of the North for colonizing the land and exiling the Free Folk, there’s a reason why serving the wall is considered a PUNISHMENT whereas SJM paints her colonizers as pure and kind-hearted

This aspect of Stewart's biography needs to be talked about more. These sorts of opportunities have all but dried up for working class people now.
Travelled through 30 years to interview Patrick Stewart four times. He was born in a lost world in which a working class boy from a mining village could join one of many am dram clubs &win a scholarship to drama school with backing from his council. bbc.co.uk/programmes/m001rqr…
