Me seeing this: This is so stupid
Me after the score: I love it
TikTok also scores how attractive you are, guesses your age/gender, and calculates your mood with some of these on-device models.
I pulled them out of the app, so you can try it directly here: ayoships.com/tools/tiktok-fa…
I ported them from ByteNN so they run in your browser. My tests showed significant negative bias against darker skin and older faces.

Iran-linked ships have been loitering over undersea internet cables in the Gulf of Oman.
Tracking data show at least four vessels slowed, looped, or went dark over cable routes between Oct. 5 and 28. Three were U.S.-sanctioned tankers. One vanished from tracking for 86 hours over two cable corridors, then reappeared about nine miles away.
In those same weeks, Iranian officials warned that regional cables could be attacked if the war resumes, and that Tehran has plans to target the lines and block repairs.
This looks like surveying routes or holding a sabotage option, not a cable already cut. No service break has been reported.
Watch those ships, fresh loitering over the Oman corridors, and any confirmed cable fault.

I had a great career as an engineer. Published books. Spoke at many conferences.
Being at home is way harder than working. It’s mentally and physically exhausting. I never thought I’d stay home.
But it’s the legacy that matters and I can see the difference in how well regulated my kids already are and how kind/funny/empathetic they are to others.

Taking the rear bumper off to do plugs is crazy😭😭 No wonder maintenance is expensive in these cars😭
The employee was on a FaceTime call for several minutes before I started recording and remained on the call when I left.
When did this kind of behavior become acceptable at work? I worked in a grocery store as teenager and I would have been fired on the spot for this behavior.
I remember one of my friends in high school had one of these. Anybody want to guess what car this is?

🌀A tropical depression is likely to form in the southwest Gulf within the next day or so. Where it ultimately reaches the northern Gulf Coast remains uncertain. Areas from southeast Louisiana to the Florida Panhandle should monitor closely. #lawx #mswx

ALT Graphic titled “Tropical Depression Likely to Form in the Southwest Gulf.” The National Hurricane Center outlook shows a disturbance in the southwest Gulf with a high, near 100% chance of tropical development. A tropical depression is likely to form within the next day or so as the system drifts east before turning north late this week. Heavy rainfall, coastal flooding, and gusty winds could affect the local area. Where the system ultimately reaches the northern Gulf Coast remains uncertain, with areas from southeast Louisiana to the Florida Panhandle encouraged to monitor the forecast closely.

Nobody talks about the psychological damage of watching something you spent 15 years learning become a button.
It’s not just about losing income. It’s the identity crisis.
You spent years studying, practicing, failing, improving, and becoming the person people came to for that skill.
Then someone with zero experience can press a button and get something that took you years to master.
You can admire the technology and still feel hurt by it.
Because deep down, you’re not just asking, “Will this replace my job?”
You’re asking, “Was all that time I spent becoming good at this still worth it?”
And that’s a much harder question to answer.
