ALT This is from the non-surveyed area. It's always good for all to see what is being found on the beach. If we pick, bag, bin no one knows...
ALT Smartieslid = 1990's/2000's beach visitor rubbish or dropped in towns/cities and washed into drains, into small watercourses, into rivers, out to sea & back onto beach. Chewed plastic bottle - dogs, foxes, gulls, rats, marine animals... Nestle tea pod from 2014 container spill in the Western Channel. Washing out of beaches with high tides and then back onto beaches perhaps... 90% of all we own has once been in a container.
A clean beach is what we see when we first set eyes on the pebbles and sand. #Lookcloser and we can find #plasticpollution everywhere. Every beach will be the same. Great bunch of volunteers at #GlyneGap #Bexhill #DataisEvidence #Lobbyforchange
