genuinely baffling and inhumane how there are atleast 3 new buildings being built on every nook and corner of every street in mumbai right now and they are doing water cuts for normal citizens. @mybmc priorities are sorted.

Made this little site to revisit the Ganpati I grew up with. Songs that never get old, the ones you’d hear in every Marathi home during Ganpati. Pandals have their playlists, but gharcha ganpati has a softer soundtrack something to peacefully hum along with, suggest more🥰

Humble request. Today marks a big day for us. All UP&RUN variants are now live on Blinkit as a variety pack across select pincodes in Bengaluru. What makes this even more special is that, at the moment variety pack is the only way to try different UP&RUN flavours together. Blinkit gives brands better visibility in a city as they reach certain sales levels and move up the tiers. For a small, growing electrolyte brand like ours, getting there takes time. So if you’re in one of the available pincodes and you run, cycle, play a sport, go to the gym, or simply do a lot of physical activity, give UP&RUN a try. We’re trying to build a clean electrolyte brand, question misleading marketing, and create products around actual needs. Salties is one example. It’s a kids’ electrolyte drink with no added sugar and no artificial colours, made for kids who run, play and sweat and need hydration too. If you try us, we’d genuinely love to hear what you think. Feedback, questions, recommendations, anything. We’re here.

Nuance to this. There is software and there is software. Not all videos are movies. Making videos has become easier and tons of people make videos - not just "record", but edit, animate, turn them into mini 30s nano-films. With the advent of smartphones if you predicted lot of people will make movies - you were both wrong (in technicality) and right (in spirit) about that argument. People didn't even know about the category of reels/tiktoks then. A personal website is also software. Everyone will not build their own operating system. But almost every small business owners or freelancer would absolutely love to build a small website for themselves now.
everybody’s going to build their own software just like everyone builds their own houses and cars

I saw this and I wanted to make a Mumbai version of this, so i spent my weekend doing this, had so much fun :) Try it out here: mumbai.adarshmishra.dev - Walk around Marine Drive - Sit on the bench/parapet enjoy the sunset - Interact with people, buy Chai, feed birds Needs a lot of work and improvements Thanks @robj3d3 for igniting the spark xD
I want to rebuild this but make it playable. What’s the best way to build 3D worlds with agents? Please tell me!

Look at how much of MMR and especially Mumbai has been covered. And notice how there's little to no discrepancy between the density in posh south bombay and middle to working class suburbs. The japanese have a word for such positively astounding results, subarashi! (although you can also use sugoi, both mean the same). I keep telling you people, "land use/land cover is destiny", but you guys treat me like i'm talking crazy or something. NO problem, people used to think galileo was made too, history will prove me right, once again.
This advice really checks out for NCR.

Git at Scale (by cursor) has been one of the most interesting blog posts i've read in a while. It came right when I was frustrated with Shopify's internal git system. As an exercise, I've implemented it over the weekend as open source. It's a single rust binary that you can point at any S3 type object store. It uses WAL and CAS primitives and requires no other data store. It also implements bundle-uri so large git repos (like our mono) are very fast to download as a chain of static bundles. Also comes with basic familiar UX. github.com/tobi/walgit
