I have SWE friends who work at places where management doesn’t know about AI. So the employees can complete weekly workload in 2 hours and chill the rest of the time. I also have SWE friends who work at places where management knows about AI. So the employees are getting squeezed out by overworking and deploying new features while accumulating tech debt at the speed of light.
