If we could really change our sex, we would either get real equality or humankind would go extinct. My guess is on the latter.

Been quite the day. Grateful to Parliament for letting us speak and to Helen and Dermot for being such effective advocates. This bill is dangerous and it will criminalise innocent parents. It cannot be amended into civility. It must be defeated.

Latest unimportant culture war distraction that only bigots care about: I talked to Lydia Daniel about the Dutch PM’s contractual procurement of a baby and a womb within which to incubate said baby, all while a live national debate rages over the ethics thereof (debate in chamber scheduled for December). PM Rob Jetten appears to have sent out a signal loud and clear that he wanted a surrogate despite seeking/advertising for these services being illegal in the Netherlands (for now). Miraculously, a woman in Jetten’s friend circle offered up an ovum and another, a uterus. Producing, bizarrely, a child with two mothers and no mother all at once. Jetten has said will take a few days off when the baby arrives in the outside world, presumably hiring a third woman to take care of him or her. So that’s three mothers, but no mother. The child and the women might be fine. But the standard it sets is anything but. Jetten is also one of those you’re-a-woman-if-you-say-you-are types. I wonder how he knew his fatherhood service providers are female? Long hair? Passport sex marker?

No controlled clinical trials on the nipple secretion chemically induced in men and intended to be fed to infants has ever been done. More information below. It's a long 3 parter, and I make no apology for that. What is being done to innocent, wholly dependent babies in the name of trans is abhorrent, and cannot be addressed in 1 short post.
This person thinks it's a great idea to use babies as lab rats with the demented and degenerate goal of providing more men with infants to suck on their nipples, under the false premise that they are 'lactating' and that it is therefore a good thing. Good for who they do not say. I won't bother refuting all the creepy justifications people use for the practice. I've done that enough, and everybody who isn't a creepy fucker should instinctively understand why it is wrong to encourage infants to suck on men's nipples. It is not a healthy individual who does not recoil at the thought. I want to discuss the published literature on drug-induced lactation in males. What do we know about the fluid produced by men after ingesting chemicals not intended to produce food and sustenance for infants, but as a side effect? What are people like this person enthusiastically supporting as sustenance for newborns and infants? The studies and reports into this fluid almost entirely consist of single-case reports involving men who had received long-term eostrogen and anti-androgen treatment (producing breast tissue development) plus a galactagogue such as domperidone and mechanical stimulation. No controlled clinical trials exist. I repeat - No controlled clinical trials exist. The best-known report is that of Reisman and Goldstein (2018) in Transgender Health. That report describes a 30-year-old man who had been on feminising hormones for six years and, with added domperidone, oestradiol, progesterone, and pumping, produced roughly 8 ounces of fluid per day near the time of delivery and was reported to exclusively feed an infant for six weeks. The infant’s paediatrician was said to have described growth and development as appropriate during that short period. Later case reports in males on similar hormone regimens have appeared; some include limited milk composition data showing presence of proteins, lactose, and other components, though volumes remain modest and exclusive feeding is rare. Criticisms of the Reisman and Goldstein 2018 report: - * Unverified drug source and samples: The male obtained domperidone himself (reportedly from Canada or online), and no clinicians involved independently verify the substance’s authenticity, purity, or dose. There is also no record of laboratory-controlled sample collection or chain-of-custody for any fluid produced. Critics have noted the absence of steps confirming that any samples were produced by the male rather than substituted by a lactating mother (he lived with the infant’s biological mother). * Insufficient volume and unverified intake: The reported output (~8 oz/day near birth) is well below a typical newborn's requirements (often 14–17+ oz/day initially, rising further by six weeks). The paper provides no objective measurements of actual infant intake, weigh-feed-weigh data, or independent volume confirmation. Claims of exclusive feeding rely on the man's self-reporting and a brief second-hand paediatrician statement rather than detailed clinical monitoring. * No composition or safety analysis in the original report: The 2018 paper contains no laboratory analysis of the fluid’s macronutrients, micronutrients, immunologic factors, or residual drug levels. Domperidone is not FDA-approved for lactation induction; the agency has warned against its use because of unknown risks to infants via milk and the cardiac risks to the adult. Spironolactone (used for androgen suppression) and high-dose hormones also transfer into milk and there is very limited data on the effects of that on infant. * Methodological and ethical limitations of a single case report: The paper had no control, no standardised protocol verification, limited hormone-level optimization data, and no long-term infant outcome tracking beyond the first weeks. There was also an absence of clear ethics-committee oversight documentation for an experimental off-label regimen involving an unapproved drug and an infant. Infant sex, detailed growth charts, and bloodwork were also not provided. There have been subsequent reports that address composition in a few cases, but they continue to rely on small numbers, self-reported or minimally verified data, and short follow-up. Historical experimental work (e.g., Huggins & Dao 1954) induced small amounts of secretion in males treated with eostrogen for prostate cancer by giving prolactin, but this was not for infant feeding and volumes were minimal. Pathological galactorrhea in untreated males (from tumors, drugs, or metabolic conditions) is documented, and one 1981 analysis of fluid from a man with hyperprolactinemia found lactose and proteins in ranges overlapping colostrum, but again without intentional infant consumption or controlled induction. Overall, the evidence that males can produce a nutritionally adequate, safely verified secretion sufficient for sustained exclusive infant feeding remains extremely limited to poorly controlled case reports with significant methodological gaps. It all smacks of perverted men looking for justification to encourage infants to suck on their nipples with no regard for the safety and sustenance of the infant, the effect on a nursing mother trying to feed her infant while her partner mucks up her routine with his creepy attempts, or the ongoing (and justified) stigma and suspicion attached to any man who wants to use a baby like that. In the next 2 replies I have listed just a few of the studies into mother's milk and formula. The differences are stark, and very telling.

The position of the Sex Discrimination Commissioner should not come as a surprise and in fact is the only position that she can take in order to try be consistent and coherent to herself and others given her overarching views and opinions. We must understand that the position she expressed is the only position one can organically arrive at, if one - as she does- a) conflates sex and gender identity b) disregards the material reality of women in favor of women being a feeling or an identity. c) disregards that certain reproductive processes are tied to being of a certain sex. I have genuinely tried to understand this position and to debate it with her to no avail. There is one point where we fundamentally differ and that I think underpins her positions on this: Commissioner Cody believes that if we were to recognize that women and girls have historically been discriminated against based on their sex (intersecting with other grounds), that would mean that we accept that that this discrimination is biologically determined and that this discrimination is acceptable or justified. This reasoning is flawed. We would not follow the same logic with any other form of discrimination, say for example racial discrimination. Naming that black people are often and have been often discriminated against because they are black does not suggest that such discrimination is justified, nor a tacit acceptance of it, nor does it suggest that they should be forever locked in a condition of being racially discriminated against. The answer to a serious problem cannot be to stop naming the cause, in the hope that this cause would magically go away or that its impact on the lives of people would soften or vanish.
Sex Discrimination Commissioner Anna Cody at Senate estimates said that protections designed to protect breastfeeding women from being discriminated against would also extend to “induced lactation in a biological male”. Read the full story: bit.ly/4zb29gC

The International Olympic Committee has scrapped its Gender Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Commission. The group of gender ideologists that inflicted so much damage on women’s sport has been unceremoniously dismantled. Good. There is no place for fairy tale thinking at any level of sport.

Widow cleansing is a traditional and ritualistic practice found in certain communities across sub-Saharan Africa (including parts of Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Malawi, Nigeria, and Cameroon). It is intended to remove perceived spiritual impurity or the spirit of a deceased husband from a widow.... In certain communities across parts of sub-Saharan Africa, when a woman's husband dies, the mourning doesn’t end with burial. For some, it’s just the beginning of something far more brutal—a practice known as widow cleansing. It is not about grief or closure, but control. The belief behind it is that a widow is tainted by her husband's death. She is said to carry his spirit, a dangerous energy that could bring misfortune or death to others unless ritually removed. The method of removal? She must have sex—sometimes with a designated relative, sometimes with a paid “cleanser,” often a stranger—under the guise of spiritual purification. This ritual is rarely consensual. In many cases, refusal isn’t even considered an option. A woman who resists risks being shunned, blamed for her husband's death, or cast out from her home and children. They say it’s tradition. That it’s for the safety of the family. That it restores balance to the community. But what it really does is reinforce a woman’s lack of agency over her body. It reduces her grief to superstition and turns her loss into yet another opportunity for exploitation. In many villages, this “cleansing” is arranged by the husband’s family. Sometimes, the very people she cooked for, lived beside, and trusted—now force her into ritualized abuse. In other places, it's commercialized, with itinerant men hired to “perform” the act, traveling from village to village under the pretense of spiritual necessity. They rarely use protection. They often spread sexually transmitted diseases, including HIV, to women who are already emotionally shattered. These women aren’t only robbed of their husbands—they’re robbed of dignity, consent, and bodily autonomy. And even after the ritual, many are left to carry the consequences alone. Sickness, shame, infertility, poverty. It’s a cycle that punishes the vulnerable while cloaking the abuse in spiritual obligation. But women have begun to speak out. Across Kenya, Malawi, Zambia, and other nations, grassroots activists—often widows themselves—are challenging these harmful customs. They are confronting community elders, educating young women, and offering support to those fleeing such practices. Some are creating sanctuaries where widows can mourn in peace, without fear. Others are pushing for laws to protect women, though enforcement remains inconsistent. #drthehistories
