He was killed in the RAF because they wouldn’t demob them even though the war was over and he was hitchhiking home because they told them to do that. I have no dad but I have a plaque saying he gave his life for King and Country.
I’m sure you mean to be kind.
Replying to @EricIdle
your father was killed in a car accident whilst hitch hiking his way home on leave for Christmas he wasn't killed by the war He was killed during the war which is not quite the same thing is it

Remember when we didn’t have an evil piece of shit for a so-called President?
Projection is a helluva drug, Piggy.
Rebecca Romijn, who co-starred with Patrick Stewart in the “X-Men” movies and is also part of the “Star Trek” universe, pays tribute to the late star:
“I feel so grateful to have known him for the last 25 years, and to have been in his orbit… both as a fellow mutant and as a fellow member of Starfleet. He was positively delicious, hilarious, naughty, incredible sense of humor, and that booming voice of his that always spoke to the very back of the room, as every classically trained Shakespearean great needs to master, has always been an inspiration. I send my condolences to his family, and I’ll miss my friend dearly. Rest in peace, Patrick.”

Trump was our first wildly uncultured POTUS, w/o graceless unsophistication of his clan you don’t get a sombrero carved into a White House pumpkin. He’s a man who doesn’t know Octavio Paz, Diego Rivera or a Frida Kahlo. Art eludes him and music is a corny confection in his world.

Oh man! Rest in power 😢
Very few actors have had such a big impact on my life from an early age - first as Captain Picard and then as Professor Xavier.
What a loss. What an actor.
Also, a loud critic of Trump and Brexit and a proud socialist.

I see Trumpers getting mad in the replies that a celeb they loved hated their politics, and mad at me for mentioning it. Oh well. When people die we tend to talk about their entire lives and legacies including, their politics.
Patrick Stewart wasn’t just a great actor, he had great politics. Cry more folks!

One of my favorite brushes with greatness. December '16 and I told @sirpatstew his crazed, self-destructive cable political host in "Blunt Talk" was PERFECT (and I should know). He quizzed me for half an hour as prep for a 2nd season that sadly never came
A lovely funny man #RIP

Trump in South Carolina: "If you're Black or Jewish and if you vote for Abdul, you're crazy. You're crazy anyway."
You wear a fuckton of mascara, @JDVance.
Oh, and you once thought you were gay, @VP
Not that there’s anything wrong with that—except your ignorant mockery.
