I could see a second and a third for Taylor and maybe a fifth in return
Vikings can't trade a 2027 second, 2027 third, 2027 fourth (which they don't have), and a 2028 fifth for Jonathan Taylor. That's too much for a RB seven years into his career. That's the price the Niners paid for McCaffrey in 2022, when he was 26 and barely played in 2020 and 2021 due to injuries. Super fresh, basically.

UPDATE: @RepJackBergman’s office responding to an ethics complaint and still not answering basic questions like how much he paid a donor in rent for his D.C. home and how much he pays his daughter after she bought the Capitol Hill rowhouse on a seller-financed land contract that requires no principal until 2033.
Ethics complaint raised another question: Is Bergman’s daughter paying an interest rate below the fair market rate? Not doing would be considered a gift, the ethics complaint said.
Again, Bergman’s office is mum.

Wait till the next time he tries to go to the hospital and finds that they have no staff because they’ve been deported and have closed the emergency room because they lost their Medicaid funds
In all fairness I should share that the horrible post about my dad’s death was not from Piers Morgan the journalist and tv fella.
This troll is now blocked.
It has been worth it to me though for all the numerous kind responses and lovely words about my father, whom I didn’t know. Thank you. They were really lovely and I appreciate you all.

Nonsense. As the Republican-packed Alaska Supreme Court concluded in June, this ballot is not stopping anyone from voting. alaskabeacon.com/2026/06/29/…
A letter from whom?
WHOA! Texas MOM tells JD Vance her DAUGHTER received a letter telling her TO TRANSITION TO A BOY 🤯
Vice President @JDVance: “Talk to our staff because I’d like the Department of Justice to investigate that.” 🇺🇸🔥
Jerry, the ballot explicitly says that he is the incumbent and the Republican. And Alaska has ranked choice voting, so people who vote for one Dan Sullivan are very likely to vote for the other one as their second choice and those votes would go to Sullivan. And you might note that Mitch McConnell super pack spent hugely to get a non-Alaskan to run as a Greene party candidate to take votes from Peltola. Come on
Hey, come on, give her a break. She was drunk at the time.
WASHINGTON — A top aide to U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro said in a Monday-night phone call that prosecutors had made a “f---up” in a high-profile criminal case against two former FBI officials, an agent who’s been investigating the case testified Thursday.

Serving Army O5 has just about had it with those "generals" guys
Generals? What Generals?
The bar for becoming a general officer is in the fucking basement. You can see a trend in my posts as of late. I've gone full bluntness on this topic since nothing else seems to work.
We spent twenty years losing wars while rewarding the people who learned how to survive the system that was losing them. Strategic failure became “complexity.” No victory became “persistent engagement.” Nobody got fired, everyone got another star, and the bureaucracy learned the oldest trick in Washington: rename failure until it sounds like expertise.
Then came the cultural surrender.
The same generals who couldn't produce victory abroad stood almost mute while the formation was carved up at home by race, sex, identity, extremism stand downs, demographic targets, and an expanding DEI bureaucracy. They watched warfighting institutions absorb the language and priorities of academia and HR, then called the corrosion “leadership.”
That's the stunning indictment nobody wants to touch: a general is supposed to protect the formation from threats outside it and rot inside it. Too many did neither.
We promoted custodians of decline and called them strategic leaders. I'm sick and tired of having to pretend the system isn't absolutely cracked in half by people who serve themselves over the nation.
No more.
We should be counting the days until this disgrace of a governor is out of office. No doubt he’s angling for a top job for the last two years of the Trump administration.

This is what an abuse of power looks like. There is no crime; they couldn’t even tell you what it would be because no one has talked about money changing hands. That’s the only possible crime.

Raise your hand if you think @leachfortexas, who wanted actions taken by #txlege against the group responsible for this (when he thought it was a marginalized group he could bully around), isn’t going to say or do a damn thing about any of this now that he knows it was GOP women?
A Republican women's group is behind a fake Texas transgender student union that sent text messages and brochures to as many as three million voters this month.
The Republican Women’s Caucus Fund and someone named John Braun were identified as those responsible for the scheme that riled up voters just as early voting began, according to legal filings made public late Thursday. The identities were ordered to be revealed by a Travis County judge. bit.ly/48q1oVa

WOWOW. @DOJRR47 doesn't know how the Fifth Amendment works.
Ghislaine wasn't going to testify about the girls she helped rape before prosecution. AN ACTUAL PROFFER would have encouraged her to do so after conviction. @AGToddBlanche AFFIRMATIVELY refused that information.
Looks like these fake news outlets didn’t read the full 497 pages of the transcript - and apparently Ted doesn’t know what a proffer is either. As a reminder, career prosecutors and agents in SDNY, including Maureen Comey herself, oversaw investigations into the “evidence” @tedlieu presents in his report.

Brad Todd is pretending to be disappointed because that’s how right-wing dorks behave. But the Obamas have conceded something profound: “When they go low” was wrong. Trump made high-road politics a dead end. It’s closed until MAGA’s destroyed, and you ghouls crawl under a rock.
