Israel needs a bicameral legislature and reform of its judiciary so, so, badly. Basically it needs an actual written constitution. I get that its political architecture was designed by a bunch of democratic socialists racing to get a modern nation on its feet while fighting enemies in all directions. But come on. This system is absurd.

Hey, everybody. The reason you can't afford your dream home is because Pedro, who carried everything that he owns on his back and walked to the USA to pick strawberries, is outbidding you. 🙄
JD, it's not "Pedro," you ignorant race baiter, it's "BlackRock" who is outbidding Americans for their dream home!

For these people, black achievement is automatically suspect, since it defies their deeply felt priors that black people (and other nonwhite cohorts) are inherently inferior.

Fox tried every little “gotcha” they could think of and @AnnieAndrewsMD held her own and knew her stuff.
She’s been to every single one of SC’s 46 counties and she is laser focused on what matters to the people, not the pundits!
PEDIATRICIAN BACKGROUND: "I’m a board-certified pediatrician... I’m also proud of the work I did in the gun violence prevention space. My role at Everytown was actually to develop a program to educate medical students on how to talk to parents about the importance of secure firearm storage... It really only took one of those tragedies to compel me to want to do something." @AnnieAndrewsMD

Reading posts by foreigners about Brazil, I get the impression that you're not aware of the full extent of the accusations against Sen. Flávio Bolsonaro, or of the available evidence of his corruption.
So I'd like to kindly invite you to really get to know Flávio. A thread 🧵🇧🇷

A Democratic Congress is going to need to fix this.
After USPS reduced mail service from some facilities, ballot-rejection rates in those regions grew to two to three times what they were for the previous midterm primary, our analysis found.

Now take on Trump, Vance and every Cabinet member who violate their oath of office every day.
Republican lawmakers are eyeing a little-known congressional maneuver that could block Democratic Socialists of America members from being sworn into the House — even if they win their elections next week.
The move hinges on the oath of office. Lawmaker-elects must swear to uphold the Constitution before taking their seat. But under this procedure, any member-elect can challenge another's right to be sworn in by presenting evidence that person would not honor that oath. The DSA's own platform, which calls for scrapping the current Constitution and drafting a new one, could serve as that evidence.
Rep. Keith Self, R-Texas, told Fox News Digital he's considering invoking the challenge. Rep. Tim Burchett, R-Tenn., has already said he plans to use it against incoming Rep. Darializa Avila Chevalier. The move would face serious legal headwinds — the Supreme Court ruled in 1969 that the House cannot exclude an elected member who meets constitutional age, residency, and citizenship requirements.

He’s a sitting U.S. Senator. Has your partisanship so completely eclipsed your sense of duty that you’d advocate in public to deny a senator from the opposing party access to the intelligence his colleagues receive?
Unprecedented? Really? How about Mitch McConnell‘s super PAC recruiting a non-Alaskan to run as the Green Party candidate to siphon votes from Peltola?
The Democrats undertook an unprecedented and coordinated effort to deceive the voters of Alaska by running someone with the same name as Senator @DanSullivan_AK.
I believe Alaska voters will see through this stunt and vote for the real Dan S. Sullivan.

Only if money changes hands is it unlawful.
…
There’s a rich history of candidates recruiting other candidates to run.
Whether because the Republican candidate wanted a Green candidate on the ballot.
Or because the Democratic candidate wanted a Libertarian on the ballot.
Or because one candidate wanted another candidate with same name as opponent. Or name of same ethnicity.
It’s not unlawful.
What makes it illegal is if money changes hands.

One of the things you notice when you drive through NH is that John Sununu doesn’t put his first name on his campaign signs because he wants voters thinking that it might be Chris running.
