I don't know what they teach anymore in university Literature departments, but I have heard from professional writers in media that they are now directed to make sure the audience understands. A complete 180. Times truly are bleak.

Back when I was in university—which, yes, has been some time ago—writers were trained to write with "the intelligent reader" in mind. "Show not tell" was possible because we trusted that the reader would understand. I don't think that applies today anymore.

your demisexual pride month reminder there’s a BIG difference between only ever experiencing sexual attraction under a specific circumstance and abstaining from sex until you feel comfortable in a relationship
Text post by professor oaks parcel: "most people are probably demisexual!" no, they arent. most people ABSTAIN from sex without an emotional connection. demisexuals literally feel no sexual attraction until there is an emotional connection. there's a difference between the two like please learn it.”

It's not enough we just had that mess with ao3.life now we have another one targeting specifically black creators from ao3. I've found 3 of my usernames and fics I'd orphaned or put on private on this site.

No, the classics seem to be immune to this phenomenon - Ashita no Joe, Hajime no Ippo, Slam Dunk etc

Not homophobic, the sexual acts between (monogamous) men can cause physical problems: gut tearing, bleeding , infections. You may say you can just protect yourself with lube and condoms, but you cant have safe sex naturally, then you were never meant to engage in that

So just a heads up on this: There are a number of LLCs that were registered yesterday and all mysteriously scraping and creating similar sites that all have the same cache of our materials. The newest offender has yet to "load in batches", meaning they are actively making more.

So ao3 [dot] life is a website whose domain was JUST registered today, with millions (?) of fics as audiobooks within their database. Honestly this is highly suspicious — DO NOT email this site for taking your fics down, they have no business knowing that kind of information.
