This is straight up fucking bullshit. “The money from audiobook goes to the writer” Fuck you you lying piece of shit. They took my fanfic and put it in there without my permission.

So ao3 [dot] life is a website whose domain was JUST registered today, with millions (?) of fics as audiobooks within their database. Honestly this is highly suspicious — DO NOT email this site for taking your fics down, they have no business knowing that kind of information.

can't find the tweet now but guys pls don't contact those ao3.life guys with the email of your ao3 account. they are not affiliated with ao3 so they have no businees knowing what email is even attached to your accounts. it makes no sense

This post is misleading. By saying “that’s a wrap!” And posting projected election results, it suggests the elections have already happened and the results are known. In fact, the post is only referring to the end of polling, while the election itself is on Tuesday.

I’m genuinely tweaking rn
Fanfic authors, please be aware there is a website 👉 ao3.life that is scraping fics from Ao3 and turning them into Ai audiobooks and selling them for profit
They have an option to have your fics taken down but from what I’m seeing you have to provide personal info to “prove” the fanfics are yours to begin with (giving, phishing scam) and they claim they pay the authors, which is both untrue and ILLEGAL
Nearly all my fanfics are on here I’m genuinely shaking I’m so pissed like what the FUCK is wrong with people 😭😭😭

To overseas followers: Please spread the news that forest fire is still happening here in Indonesia. NOT NATURAL DISASTERS, FOREST WERE BURNED ON PURPOSE.
I will still spread this. If you hear nothing from me for more than a month, you know what happened. we are getting silenced.

PLEASE READ‼️
On November 16th Trump will be visiting the Philippines to finally sign Pax Silica. This is a data center that'll takeover 1,2620 hectares. That is a size of 38 mall of asias. It'll be built over agricultural and indigenous lands.

I'll post it here too.
I'll just remind everyone that the concepts of phishing and social engineering exist, and opening a scam website who says the only way you can opt out is by sending them an email address and other identifying info is Suspicious.

please DO NOT give these people the e-mail associated with your ao3 accounts. since this is monetized and directly referencing them, it’s more likely that ao3 and their legal team themselves can work on a takedown request, or at least provide instructions on how to do it safely. DO NOT DOXX YOURSELF TO AN AI SLOP SITE.
Don't fall for this ao3 . life scam! They don't pay authors. This is their way of knowing your email connected to your AO3 account & do bad stuff to it. It's illegal to earn money with fanfics due to copyright. I wasn't scammed by them but I changed my password in other socials.

If your kids don’t trust you or understand why the rules are there, they WILL go behind your back and/or find workarounds. I know bc I was the kid once.
It’s a parenting issue, but admitting that means parents need to hold themselves accountable and make a mature decision.

I totally agree, this is thin end of the wedge stuff.
Right and left must stand together and resist this, no one wants to go back to the dark ages with some censorious arbitrary moral police telling us what consenting human adults can enjoy and participate in.
