I recently ran a 4-week cohort teaching interaction design in @rive_app.
The goal wasn’t just animation, but helping designers think in systems.
From cart logic to drag interactions, everything was built around how UI behaves, not just how it looks.
This is a quick look at the process.

DOOMSWIPE took 1st place in the @rive_app Halloween Challenge on @contra! 🏆
From a CLI prototype to custom animated creatures and a playable 2D game inside a haunted 3D world.

🎃 It's Halloween season!
Dino Fire now has a Halloween mode. Pick Normal or Halloween before you run (you can switch mid-game too).
Every level is haunted and set at night, with spooky characters of their own, and the eerie atmosphere is powered by Rive shaders. 👻
Two leaderboards are open: Normal and Halloween. Can you reach the top?

"Why do people choose NectarFi?"
Our CEO, @dannySimpl3r, breaks it down on Good Tech Live @ Moonshot.
One of the most rewarding parts of building NO FOLD so far. 🥹♠️
Watching real people play, laugh, and argue over their card combinations was such a beautiful feeling.
We found bugs, discovered UX problems, and got honest feedback.
But seeing people genuinely enjoy something I built? That one hits differently. ❤️🔥

Revolut's designers are moving off Figma.
Storonsky spotted one team designing much faster than the others. What they did:
1. Gave an LLM Revolut's design system at the code level
2. Prompted it to build new flows on top of that system
3. Got a live interface they can click through on a laptop or phone, instead of static frames
Result: 3-4x faster. Now he's pushing it to every designer at Revolut.
His job, as he describes it: find what works in one team and spread it across the company.

Been building a reusable card component in @rive_app for @nofoldgame. ♠️
One card, four category themes, dynamic content, and interactive states for inspecting and selecting cards.
Everything is driven by a View Model and state machines.
Next step: bringing it into React and seeing how it behaves in the actual game.
Still cooking. 🔥

Module 2 reflection is up!
This one’s on design and evaluation. I started with Thomas Edison, one of the most brilliant inventors in history. His focus was on the technology, not the people using it, and it cost him.
From there, I get into front-end analysis, task analysis and evaluation methods.
Apparently, my Human Systems Engineering course comes with video reflections on what I'm learning, so I thought I'd share them here, too.
This first reflection covers Designing for People, human factors design cycles, and an IRL experience.
More to come over the next few weeks. Link to the full video below 👇🏽

From an idea to actually playing NO FOLD online with multiplayer working!
The journey has been crazy, but seeing it come alive hits differently. 😭🔥
Now I can’t wait to start cooking the @rive_app interactions!

Tried Figma to Rive using the CLI and I'm mind-blown. It captured the exact design and executed the animation as described.
Created navigation from ranks to profile and back, then used data binding for each user's profile.
Loving what Rive is becoming day by day
Built this version of NO FOLD for the Colosseum hackathon. 😂♠️
Really enjoyed bringing the idea to life, and we’ve been cooking something even more interesting since then. 🔥

Really had a blast doing this with @the_mindfolk. Great questions and insights on where we have been and how we are heading into the ownership era for our community.
I hope you enjoy it like I enjoyed it.

Updates on Hallo Lane!
Loved creating these assets in @rive_app 💖especially the main character!
The workflow has been super smooth. We have a shared folder in a Rive space, and @guidorosso pulls everything he needs directly into the project using the Rive CLI. Working with the agent sped things up and let us focus more on the creative side!
