Hong Kong just killed traditional banking hours with blockchain
The Hong Kong Monetary Authority has made it official: Project Ensemble has unlocked 24/7 settlement for tokenized assets using a wholesale CBDC to clear sovereign debt.
The monetary authority is now adding licensed stablecoins to the secondary market for trading tokenized Exchange Fund Bills issued by the government.
Meanwhile, HSBC's native stablecoin, RedCoin $RCHKD, exceeded 50,000 users within 10 days of launch.
Tis is exactly how life works.
