Looks like it's time fo the annual update to the "About Me" pinned post.
🐝 Happily married for 29 years. A total package and a female Benjamin Button (she tells everyone we got married at 10 years old)
🐝 24 year old daughter that ran XC at Syracuse and now PhD at Princeton. Genetics from Mom, work ethic from Dad
🐝 Started running around 40 yrs old and lost 50 lbs
🐝 Have run over 30 marathons and completed 2 Ironmans. Finally broke 3 hrs in the marathon 2 years ago at 52 years old
🐝 Always did side gigs because all money from my business needed to be reinvested so if I wanted to play I needed to create extra cash. Business owners/founders understand this. Especially when you finance yourself. Asset rich, cash poor
🐝First website I created was called Wall Street Fighter in 2007 and in 2008 I sold it to Break Media owned by Lions Gate Films
🐝 Used money to start domain name portfolio and invested in Wallstrip with @howardlindzon and @fredwilson. They Sold it to ABC for millions and made 2008 a good year
🐝Started a blog about domains called DSAD.com in 2009 and have missed less than 20 days posting in those 14 years. Built a domain portfolio that generates six figures + a year for a decade and many decades to come with an initial investment of $18K
🐝 Started a honey company called Beehouse.com because I love honey, I love building, and it was a way to support beekeepers by giving them cashflow so they could keep doing their hobby without having to go to farmers markets and market their honey. They could concentrate on enjoying beekeeping
🐝Got a Silver Lab during Covid like everyone in the whole world and went from "I hate dog people who think their dogs are better than humans" to a person that knows my dog is better than some humans
Was a CoFounder at @trippies with @360, and it was one of the hardest, most difficult, and learning experiences I've ever had. The peaks and valleys were Web 3 at its finest. All the issues we had were experienced by most other projects at some point. Also learned in Web 3 you have to be all in if you are serving customers. Part-time doesn't work. Web 3 doesn't sleep and if you think you are going to part-time a company or project, you are on your way to failure.
🐝Mom moved 3 blocks away so that I could be helpful just like she was for me when I was younger. My friends (especially my Mom and Dad) and family got me here and I owe them the same support when they need it
🐝Retired from the nursery at the end of 2022 to have a more mobile lifestyle. Retail handcuffs you to be an operator 7 days a week from the same location
🐝 Presently I am a marketing partner and advisor to several domain companies in the space. Specializing in domain aftermarket and web 3 integration
🐝 Initial stages of building an online plant and gardening company at Botany.com Starting with a newsletter and social media presence. Expanding in the future to online plants and products.
That's where I'm at. Things change quickly around here but never stop moving
"Have to get comfortable with uncomfortable.com"
"Outsmart the Dumb and Outwork the Smart"
The domain wars continue. $9.85 Transfers at @AtomHQ right now. Things are getting spicy
I would like to announce that I have recently accepted the Intern position at Campus Launch.
They have assured me that I will still have time to attend to my domain selling duties
Introducing CampusLaunch, the world's first sorority marketing agency.
We’ve generated 65 million views for Nike, FOX, BodyArmor, and more.
Here’s how I started and scaled the idea:
Less than a year ago, I was working an investment banking job.
I was in my cubicle, scrolling on TikTok, when I saw a video of 150+ Arizona sorority girls doing a choreographed dance video.
The video had 43 million views. Then I realized something:
Brands desperately wanted to reach Gen Z.
Sororities desperately wanted to become influencers.
Nobody was connecting the two.
So, while at my 9-5, I posted a tweet about sororities becoming the next NIL.
The tweet got millions of views. BodyArmor, Kalshi, and Gymshark booked calls.
So I did what any logical man would do:
I quit my job with 0 clients.
All I knew was that I had product market fit.
In those 10 months, I:
- Connected with hundreds of sororities across the country
- Cold messaged 100+ brands per day
- Sent personalized loom videos to fortune 500 CEO’s
Now, we are working with FOX on Hollywood level trailer promotions.
If you have any questions on starting a business, I’ll read through every comment.
The Bianance hack money is frozen. Yep. But the hackers went to aave BEFORE it was frozen and took a loan against it in ETH.
So the frozen USDT is sitting in a loan that obviously will never be paid back and they have the clean ETH. They knew it could be frozen so they had already prepared for it.
There are levels to the hacking game and we may have found the newest boss
How can it not be a great day with a sunrise like this? I'm going to make it a better day buy selling a domain and buying a few great names to replace it. And here's a few from my DSAD pick list that I'm keeping my eye on

When I saw Afternic in my emails I admit I got pretty excited. Turns out it was announcing their new domain down payment options.
Happy for them, but I prefer "Congratulations You've Sold" version of that email
Can you imagine the panic if 3 banks were robbed of billions in one day? Crypto will forget about it by Monday. Tells me three things
Crypto holders are tough as nails
The foundation of crypto can take almost anything at this point
People still don't consider this real money because they don't panic enough
My father in law is now over 100K followers on Instagram and adding 2-3K a day. No AI, no formulas, no hooks. Simple posting his meals and being himself. People see him as the Grandpa they often don't have and get to talk to. He answers every single comment. Some times 250 a day.
This is truly what people want and will pay for. Authenticity and reality. Not all your tips and tricks
The secret to building an audience? Consistency and authenticity. My father-in-law, a widower, has been posting his "Big Breakfast" on IG every weekend for years—a meal he once shared with his wife and still makes in her honor.
For the longest time, nobody really noticed. But in the last month? He’s gone viral. Hundreds of likes, comments pouring in, people drawn to his warmth and sincerity. He never chased attention—he just showed up, shared something real, and kept doing it.
That’s how you build something that lasts. Show up. Be real. And do it again tomorrow.
To keep you up to date.
If you keep your crypto on a cold wallet there are hacks and possible software installs to take it all
If you keep it at a CEX, there is a big risk that they get hacked and take it all
Which leaves you
When an asset value crashes you immediately become a long term investor
Great day to be a long term investor with conviction and an appetite for opportunity. $AMZN
I think Uncomfortable is one of the most used words in describing progress. Everyone who has great advice on overcoming obstacles and becoming better, discusses what to do with uncomfortable.
I have mentioned I own Uncomfortable.com a 1000 times but it has come up 10,000 time in my readings. It's hard to ignore
I’m convinced that most stress isn’t from the hard things you’re doing, but from the hard things you’re avoiding. A good life is built by simply doing uncomfortable things sooner. The delayed conversation gets harder. The ignored problem gets bigger. The small repair gets more expensive. Peace is found through direct early action.
There are a lot of things $OPEN needs but a retail investor cheerleader is not one of them. That's played out and what took them from $1 to $4.
Now what's left is fundamentals and there are a ton of headwinds ahead. I can't see a world where they don't need to dilute the stock and/or take on more debt.
Disclaimer: I am short this stock. Literally the only short I've held in 2026 more than a day. I'm wrong every day but that day won't be coming soon for me here IMO
Should you force your kids to take music lessons?
Yes. It's really the only thing I forced my kid to do. You do need to try a bunch of different instruments to find out which is best but I think guitar is the one that translates best to actually playing it for life.
You're not bringing a piano with you. Nobody wants to hear your violin, sax, or clarinet. To me, great that people use them, but almost zero percent chance they play later in life. Go with guitar
My daughter hated guitar lessons. We made her go for a decade. Math tutor, guitar lessons. Nonnegotiable
Now she pulls it out at parties, around the campfire and practices on her own. She can play any chord chart you hand her. Ask her and now she'll tell you that she's glad she took the guitar lessons. (and the math tutor)
There is an old saying "Act like you've been there"
I give a pass to all the excitement and ridiculous statements by the .si holders. For a large majority of holders, this is the first big "win" for them. They haven't been there.
They now know the feeling of regular sales and good profits. It's addicting and exciting and it's all they can think of. I feel it every day and there is no better feeling.
If this is what it takes for them to stay longer, have a bankroll to buy more domains, and to participate in the greatest industry I know, then I'm all for it.
Today's Domain Keyword of the Day is "Focus".
The positive: you don't fight the plural. Below are the results of two-word domain auctions that end in the word focus over the last 5 years
Now let's look at today's domain auctions. Here are a few from each auction house
