What a strange effect this will create - imagine working in an office where essentially 1,000 of you all hit 'lottery winner' status at once.

Back in the day you could just be a dude who bought a shirt from Express and play on the global stage. You'd look out and see smiling people without cell phones who still look healthy.
Jack Grealish is a proper class act. There are tons of these stories around of him doing nice things. Donating like this, giving kids stadium tours, looking after fans where others wouldn't think to, etc.
What a absolute gent Jack Grealish is. I put an Insta story up late last night about a heartbreaking situation for a big @Everton fan. And Jack goes on to donate for his fund. What a top guy 💙 🙌🏼

Every height on a mainland British map is measured from a brass bolt in a small hut on a Cornish pier.
Ben Nevis is 1,345 m (4,413 ft) high, but only relative to a spot about 745 km (460 mi) away at Newlyn, near Penzance.

I think this is three things about cyclists on Oxford Street:
1. Some are just flouting the ban.
2. Some do not realise 'traffic free' applies to bikes.
3. Only half the street is closed. Some cycle along and then simply continue into the 'no traffic' zone.
Cyclists flout Oxford Street traffic ban nearly every minute with no sign of fines trib.al/TokL6vJ
The reason Elvis never performed in the UK, or internationally aside from Canada, is really weird.
Elvis died knowing that his manager - Colonel Parker - was from the South of the USA.
In fact that was not true, Colonel Parker was really called Andreas van Kuijk, an illegal Dutch immigrant, and was so afraid his cover would be blown he avoided leaving North America. He kept an iron grip on Elvis, even though Elvis wanted to see the world.
Bloke on Channel 5 News: "Elvis never performed in the UK, even when he was alive." EVEN when he was alive? #5News

Here is everything you need to know about the Anthropic S-1 filing, in the style of a 90s rave flyer.
For people wondering how deliveries will take place now Oxford Street is pedestrianised:
1. It's only actually 0.6 of a mile of the street that's pedestrianised (the street is 1.2 miles long)
2. It's open to traffic Midnight to 7am.
TFL are now claiming the 'Are they hiding something?' poster is unauthorised flyposting... but official news sources covered these posters going up, including variants of that exact poster.
TFL say they have reported it to British Transport Police, but... it looks like BTP themselves ran the campaign.
