This is who Kirk Lazarus was a parody of, by the way...
Daniel Day-Lewis says most people talking about method acting have no idea what they're talking about
"all the recent commentary the last few years about method acting is invariably from people that have little or no understanding of what it actually involves"
"it's almost if it's like some specious science that we're involved or a cult or something"
"it's just a way of freeing yourself so that the spontaneity when you are working with your colleagues in front of the camera that you are free to respond"
he just called the whole method acting debate fake and somehow made it sound completely calm

I would also have my lines for that little monologue typed up on the laptop
In this 1995 video from Friends, Chandler describes his new laptop:
- 12 MB of RAM
- 500MB hard drive
- 28.8K modem
This was a power users laptop - the average user at the time had 4MB of RAM, a 200MB hard drive, and a 14.4KB modem.
His laptop had more power than an average home computer of the era, and for what reason? Games.
Nothing changes. 😆

Devastated.
Oscar winner Glen Hansard ("Once") has died in a motorcycle crash at 56 years old. He won the Academy Award for best original song with "Falling Slowly."
“With broken hearts we announce the passing of Glen Hansard who passed away, in the early hours of this morning, following a road traffic accident in Dublin," a statement from his agency reads. "Glen’s family is deeply shocked and heartbroken by this tragic loss and respectfully requests privacy at this extremely difficult time. The family is grateful for the support they have received and wishes to thank the emergency services who attended the scene."

HE GETS IT
Zach Cregger says much of his RESIDENT EVIL film is being shot from a unique third-person perspective, inspired by the video games.
“When Austin looks right, our camera operator swings to look right.. it felt like the camera was being psychically controlled by Austin.”

I truly truly despise the ubiquitous usage of the word "content" these days.
"Content" is what the Glukkons would have used to describe the new filling of their Paramite Pies.
It's bland, beige, formless, meaning-starved, corpo non-language and we deserve better.
Very excited to announce that I voice a totally normal and unremarkable guy named Carl in this deconstructed fairytale by @TrineCJensen and @GabrielUrbinaTM alongside @amanda_rischel and an absolutely *stacked* cast including @Nik_apostolides and @jhaletweets

The more I hear about this movie, the more it sounds like the story of someone you discover through abandoned notes scattered throughout one of the games.
I think Zach Cregger gets it.
Zach Cregger on his 'Resident Evil' movie 🧟♂️
“It feels like one gigantic sequence. Things pop off about five minutes in and it basically stays like that until the end. What I love about the games is that you move from set-piece to set-piece. Every location has a unique challenge ... I’m borrowing from the games directly in that rhythm, where you’re just running through a gauntlet"
"The concept here is that we’re following an idiot. Not that he’s stupid, but he’s not your typical game character, with no combat skills whatsoever and completely inept at survival. Bryan is very much an everyman who happens to be burdened with this kind of sacred mission that’s going to take him into the heart of everything. It’s kind of like Frodo going into Mordor"

For those mourning what could have been with Lodi in #Destiny2, here's an interview with his VA Brian Villalobos (@lobrocop) that I helped research a few months ago, delving into Lodi as a character.
