The anti-crypto Democrats have been blocking this bill every step of the way for over a year, since the House passed it on July 17, 2025. The Senate received the bill and referred it to the Banking Committee on September 18, 2025, and that is when deliberations began. From that point, they demanded stronger consumer protections, tighter illicit-finance rules, limits on stablecoin yields, and less federal preemption of state authority. Those were the opening asks. Republicans incorporated a long list of them as negotiations dragged on through 2025 and into 2026. The demands kept shifting. Later they focused on ethics restrictions for officials’ crypto holdings. They specifically wanted state attorneys general to have their own enforcement power instead of leaving it only to the U.S. Attorney General and the Justice Department. Trump and Republicans agreed to about 80% of the Tillis-Gallego ethics proposal, including divestiture or a blind trust, and put state AGs in the loop. Still not good enough. By the final text in September 2026, Senators Cynthia Lummis, Tim Scott, and John Boozman said they had taken in more than 100 other Democratic-requested changes. Democrats still voted no on advancing the bill. Every single one. They were never going to pass it. Sens. Ruben Gallego (D-AZ) and Elissa Slotkin (D-MI) each received roughly $10 million in support from the crypto super PAC Fairshake (and affiliated groups) during their 2024 campaigns. No other Democratic senator received a comparable amount at that level. Other so-called pro-crypto Democrats who took industry support or helped negotiate the bill, including Sens. Angela Alsobrooks, Kirsten Gillibrand, and Mark Warner, still voted no along with every other Senate Democrat. This failure belongs entirely to the Democrats, not to Brian Armstrong (@brian_armstrong), the crypto industry, or the Republicans.
🚨NEW: Former House Financial Services Chair @PatrickMcHenry just delivered blistering criticism of the crypto industry on @BloombergTV for squandering its best opportunity to pass market structure legislation this year: “Frankly, you had a crypto coalition that blew it. They had an opportunity to legislate, and they were holding out for something that was unattainable, a perfect piece of legislation. And rather than take something that was good, many of them held out for perfection, and now have ended up with nothing legislatively.”

Replying to @AustralianLabor
@australianlabor gave the Australian Council of Trade Unions 11.65 million taxpayer dollars in 24/25, who then spent 5.5 million dollars campaigning for Labor to be reelected in 2025. Did Fortescue mining billionaire Twiggy Forest spend to get Labor reelected? His tax free charity Mindaloo don’t list where their 250 million 24/25 donations went. The ATO don’t require they be disclosed. The Federal Government give Mindaroo tens of millions in contracts and the Government gave Fortescue 100 million plus for failed Renewable energy projects. Why is Oz media only interested in Gina?

I was a bit hesitant to open X today because the last few weeks have been SO crazy with the FUD levels about finance, politics and crypto at all time high levels. After the crypto market had a tiny rally inti the mid terms its pulled righ back again and that made me think that X would be full of even more agro people but to my suprise the temperature seems a little lower. Lets hope that we get some good vibe narratives fed to the general global psyche over the next few weeks and we get some real positivity going for the end of the year. Think free, think positive and have a great day everyone.

Once again Labor is treating taxpayers’ money as its own and spending it to serve its own political ends. They have splashed MORE money on news organisations in another round of grant funding. This time under the “News Innovation Fund”. We saw it with multicultural grants and invitation-only sports and community grants. Now it is subsidising the newsrooms meant to hold it to account, under rules that shut out media outlets the government thinks will criticise it. Like this government’s whole approach to grants, it stinks.

Introducing Accord… My latest contribution to the XRPL ecosystem! It never stops shocking me how often we see people lose their crypto. Everyone thinks they’re bulletproof. Until they’re not. And here’s the thing… It doesn’t matter whether you’re using a hot wallet or a cold wallet. If everything depends on a single key, that key is still a single point of failure. For long-term XRP holders, multisig should be a no-brainer. And for projects I genuinely believe multisig should be the expectation, not the exception. It’s about security, accountability and giving your community confidence. And for enterprise this is the tool they didn’t know they needed. That’s why I built Accord. XRPL multisignature made simple. Designed for everyone, from individuals wanting to protect their long-term holdings to projects and enterprises needing more sophisticated account security and signing workflows. Today I’m launching the Accord waitlist, and opening up the platform for FREE public testing on XRPL Testnet. I want you to try it. Put it through its paces. Tell me what works, what doesn’t, and what you’d like to see. Your feedback will help shape the mainnet release. accordxrpl.com One key shouldn’t be all that stands between you and losing everything.

Rennick is exactly right here. Anthony Albanese has cut off working holiday visas from the UK and EU, cultures very similar to our own, who GO HOME after their working holidays and are excellent visitors - and calls it reducing migrants (they’re not migrants) All whilst ramping up student and parental visas from the subcontinent (who mostly visa hop till they get residency) Albanese is a RACIST anti-Australian who hates western cultures.
TOURISTS ARE NOT MIGRANTS Anthony Albanese has yet again shown why he is unfit to be Prime Minister. In order to reduce immigration he is going after working holiday visas holders. While these young people do work, they are actually tourists not immigrants. Yes they do work but in jobs that help sustain two of our vital industries - Agriculture and Tourism. While I would accept employment being restricted to rural areas there is no need to reduce tourists to Australia. Australia also benefits from reciprocal agreements with other countries regarding backpacking. As a former backpacker myself I can attest to the experience and personal development backpacking offers. People First won’t cut back on working holiday visas. Instead we will cut back on student, bridging and the Indian Migration and Mobility agreement. If you want to support our tourist and agricultural sector then please sign up to Peoplefirstparty.au today ••••••••••••• “The Albanese government's planned cuts to backpacker visas risks damaging Australia's "hard built" reputation as one of the world's great destinations for working holidaymakers, the chief executive of the nation's peak tourism and transport body says. Tourism and Transport Forum chief executive Margy Osmond said the federal government's proposed cuts, which would cap second-year backpacker visas at 45,000 and slash the number of third-year places from 31,000 to just 5000, risked tarnishing Australia's appeal as a destination for working holidaymakers. Struggling tourism organisations have warned the government's proposed cuts will starve them of workers and rip millions of dollars from regional economies. The changes also have prompted fierce criticism from West Australian Premier Roger Cook, who in a letter to Home Affairs Minister Tony Burke said the new rules would hurt his state's regional tourism and hospitality sector.”

At what point do we stop focusing on who needs to pay more tax and start asking where all of our tax money is going.

Back when they printed ban knotes for the first time, counterfeiting was rampant. Vault theft were on the rise. Then credit cards were invented and card fraud went rampant. Now, crypto is going mainstream and hacking is rampant. That is what happens when you introduce a new form of value into society. It takes time to refine and improve, build safeguards, enforce compliances, licensing. Then it becomes robust.

British Politician Fires Back at Mehdi Hasan: “If Islam Is So Peaceful, Why Does Saudi Arabia Execute People for Apostasy?” Speaker: My side of the argument is regularly told that we are demonising Islam and whipping up fear of Islam. But let me tell you what actually whips up fears of Islam. 9/11. The London bombings. Madrid. Mumbai. Bali. Death for apostasy. Death for blasphemy. Death for adultery. Death for homosexuality. Gender discrimination. Child marriage. Beheadings. Imprisonment for being raped. The murder of Theo van Gogh. Death threats. Sharia patrols. Polygamous marriages. This is what causes fear of Islam. It is not me. We'll be told this is just the extreme fringe of Islam. Well, look at Saudi Arabia the birthplace of Islam and custodian of its holy sites. People are executed for blasphemy and apostasy. But apparently, that's the extreme fringe? Calling Saudi Arabia the extreme fringe of Islam is like calling the Vatican the extreme fringe of Catholicism. Sorry, it just doesn't work. Then we're told violent Muslims have misunderstood Islam. Saudi Arabia has misunderstood. Iran has misunderstood. Yemen has misunderstood. Has there ever been a more spectacularly misunderstood religion than Islam? I'm constantly told that I need to respect Islam. But I'm under no greater obligation to respect Islam than any other belief. I am under no obligation to make compromises with an ideology I simply don't see as peaceful. Why don't I see it as peaceful? Because of the evidence. If I look around the world and see the countries where Islam calls the shots, all I see is brutality and violence imposed by the state.

In a week where we have seen the left go into an absolute uproar of outrage at someone doing a nazi salute while wearing a one nation hat at a rally (in my opinion VERY likely a face plant to cause outrage) i wonder where their putrage eill be over this horrific situation. As australians we need to be able to have adult discourse without dehumanising and wishing harm on others. Everyone needs to grow up.
On Sunday 1 November, a husband and father to two young children was allegedly attacked with a baseball bat outside his home in Torquay, Victoria, after confronting two people who were damaging One Nation signs on his property. He is now in hospital with multiple facial fractures and bleeding on the brain. He faces a long recovery. He runs his own business and is the family's only income earner. While he is recovering, the family has no money coming in. His work vehicle was also badly damaged in the alleged attack. His family should be able to focus on his recovery without the added worry of lost income, medical costs and everyday bills. We are keeping his name private to protect him and his family. All funds raised will go directly to the family to help cover these expenses and support his recovery. Any contribution, large or small, will help. If you cannot donate, please consider sharing this page. Thank you for standing with this father and his family. gofundme.com/f/help-a-victor… @PaulineHansonOz @OneNationAus

I got screamed at by a woman on Saturday that I had, up till then, been having a perfectly normal and friendly conversation with. She asked me about politics and when I said I was supporting what one nation were doing at the moment, she turned very angry and irate, and told me "how can you support them when they are pro-rapists and have no respect for people abusing women". It flabbergasted me to be honest but it really demonstrated how powerful the mass psychosis and programming has been for someone who seemed so normal to turn into a total freak within seconds. youtu.be/uGiZA7Zylig?si=izim…

DSA candidate Tim Denson tries to sell the crowd on “democratizing the workplace” and says Walmart should belong to the workers. Big mistake. The guy 6 ft away from him grew up in Venezuela. And he’s heard this communist fairy tale before. DANIEL DI MARTINO: “So you want to take it [Walmart] from its owners and have the workers do what?” TIM DENSON: “I want the workers to own it and get paid better and have better benefits and be able to provide better lives for their families.” DI MARTINO: “We can buy shares in Walmart right now. In fact, all of the SpaceX workers became millionaires overnight.” “You can start a workers’ cooperative right now. It’s legal, but under a socialist country, you’re not allowed to own your own property and start your own private corporation.” Denson tried to refute Di Martino’s point. Then Di Martino dropped this line on him: DI MARTINO: “It’s very easy to be a socialist in a capitalist country. It’s illegal to be a capitalist in a socialist country. That is the difference.” [audience applause] Then it got personal: DI MARTINO: “When I had to go to the grocery store, Tim, I had to put my fingerprint in a scanning machine so that they would tell me what I was allowed to purchase.” “And I could only go Mondays and Saturdays because we have to ration food, because that’s what happens when there’s no profit motive and the farmers, their food is confiscated because they had to sell it to the government and everybody else at the price the government tells the farmers.” “My mom made chocolate bonbons for parties.” “Well, people have a right to chocolate, so we had a price control on chocolate.” “So my mom had to buy counterfeit chocolate, put it in black bags as if we were cocaine drug dealers. That’s what socialism was in Venezuela. That’s what worker ownership of the means of production is.” “Where has it ever worked?” Denson had no answer. Because there isn’t one.
