In terms of the balance of performance and convenience it's one of the best (if not the best).
When in doubt, just use C# and ASP.NET Core. It's blazing fast. .NET 11 RC2 is even faster. For me, it's the best overall major web framework - auth, config, logging, perf, modular middleware, DI, cross-plat, etc. But I didn't expect this:

Campfire rewrite journey continues. I let the clankers run for a day, go through all the PRs that were submitted, verify the work, merge what was ready, and then ask it to bring all architectural improvements to each implementation. Good old C is now in the lead!

Tam üstüne gelmiç 🙃
26 years ago today, Baldur’s Gate II: Shadows of Amn arrived in Europe and Australia. September 29, 2000. Five CDs. A huge manual. The Infinity Engine. And an adventure that could completely consume your weekends. The Collector’s Edition even came with a cloth map, character cards, a Black Isle writing tablet and a bonus CD. This was when buying a PC RPG felt like bringing an entire world home with you.

Video çok güzel bence Türkiye'deki kültürel değişimi de çok güzel anlatmış. Bir de uzun zamandır kaliteli bir sosyalist içerek dinlememiştim. Muhtemelen benim eksikliğim tabi. youtu.be/wbgTYL4KszA?si=5ZZQ…

🧩 OpenCode .NET SDK now has 100% API surface coverage. Just released 0.9.0-preview.4, with full support for OpenCode 2.0.18 🚀 The SDK now has 100% API surface coverage: all 138 operations are callable, including both terminal WebSocket connections. The launcher is now feature-complete too. You can start a private OpenCode server for your app, discover and reuse the CLI's shared background service, or ensure that service is running through OpenCode's own election mechanism. Connecting to a server you already run is supported as well. This release also adds support for OpenCode's new pairing flow, so another client can connect without needing the server password. Still pre-1.0, but both the protocol surface and the launcher are now complete. Getting closer 😀 👇 cc: @opencode @thdxr github.com/Blind-Striker/ope…

Every Rust reply when someone suggests C# is now: “Why would I choose C# when even @stephentoub chose Rust?” Whatever reasoning comes after that line, the line still wins. Making the case for .NET just got harder. That hurts. Toub’s write-ups are the ones we quote to defend the choice. This feels like et tu, Brute. First Anders takes the TypeScript compiler to Go. Now Toub takes the Copilot runtime to Rust. These don’t happen in a vacuum. An ecosystem was built, people bet their careers on it, and the person we pointed to as the “why C#” priest just picked a different church. @shanselman this doesn’t stay in a blog post. The ecosystem you helped grow is the one we have to defend in comment sections tomorrow, and the citation we used just walked off the stage. If Microsoft is porting, it's mission critical infrastructure to non-.NET languages, do I need to be worried about building my clients mission critical infrastructure on .NET?

One engineer dediği de Stephen Toub. Hani her sene .NET'de bu sene nasıl performans artışları oldu, şunu yaptık bunu yaptık diye 100 sayfa blog post yazan adam. Stephen Toub engineer ise biz neyiz.
Just one engineer and a team of agents ported the GitHub Copilot agent runtime to Rust, shipping 800,000 lines of production code while retaining code quality. 🚀 How it worked 👇 github.blog/ai-and-ml/genera…

Baldur’s Gate II: Shadows of Amn released on PC 26 years ago today. If you brought this home in 2000, you knew you weren’t finishing it over the weekend. Multiple CDs, a huge manual, countless hours exploring the Forgotten Realms and way too many late nights in front of the computer. This was PC RPG gaming at its best.
