That's a great question. I'm hopeful that Schotty will answer it in his upcoming presser because I'm guessing it will be asked.

@derekeagleton U mentioned the top players & WRs should always be on the field during critical downs. Im shocked the coaches didnt have 88 & 3 on the field. But why are they letting it happen?
I literally was saying to @nickeatman that Dak should have opportunities to run because ARI is running a lot of man coverage...then he runs it in. By the way, ARI has played really good man coverage this game.
So, DAL defense opens with a 3 and out. Then after being put in a position of having to defend ARI starting at their own 30 (already in FG range), DAL gets a turnover on downs with a big stop by Caleb Downs. It's a start. Now we see if they can keep it rolling.
For those who loved Cinematic Recap last season, this is the same series with a new name. Outstanding work by our Creative Video team!

Eric Moore, JRod Sullivan, Somadhi “Stixx” Johnson are some of my current favorites. I came up listening to drummers like Steve Gadd and Vinnie Colaiuta.

Damn, didn’t know Derek got funky like that. Who are some of your favorite drummers?
Love it!

Nice. I got one just starting out about to get his first drum set for his birthday next month.
Any time. Hope you enjoyed the tour.
Thanks to @nickeatman and @derekeagleton for taking the time for a picture today at the Star !!
Ok, let's do a little study. Go check out all 14 games across the NFL in week 7 and tell me which defenses were better. My assertion was only about week 7, was specific to points against, and had nothing to do with the perceived strength of opponent. Let me know what you find.

@derekeagleton I'm just getting to @CowboysBreak from yesterday. Brother! The D was not "average"?! C'mon now!

"it will require a greater effort vs great competition"...yes, context matters.

"Only 11 teams gave up less" - yes, against real NFL offenses, not a third string unit. Context matters.
Let's assume that everything you mentioned is exactly what the defense did and was all a result of their poor performance (no plays were "made" by PHI). In spite of all that, they gave up 21 points. Only 11 teams in the NFL gave up less in week 7. Additionally, CAR allowed McKee almost the exact stat line a week before and it's actually worse for McKee than his first 2 starts. DAL's defense wasn't stellar or even above average last night. Their struggles stopping the run were real. But in the stat that matters most (points allowed), they were in the middle of the pack. And when the offense is what we expect them to be, that's more than enough. Sure, it will require a greater effort vs great competition, but last night was what I've wanted from this defense since last year. That's my only point.

At least one member of @CowboysBreak will get to sleep tonight. Enjoy.
Javonte said that Schotty emphasized the running game and wanted at least 25 rushes tonight. Good things happen when you let this offensive line be aggressive. PHI’s front has talent but Dallas still dominated up front in the run and pass game.
It's only available for those in the radio broadcast area. League rule.

@derekeagleton Is the radio broadcast no longer available on the app? I didn’t have a need to try to listen last season, so not sure if this is new…
