This is part of why people who try Omarchy on some old potato PC find that their new MacBook machine suddenly isn't very attractive in comparison. There are a lot of common developer tasks that are just way, way faster on Linux (it's the same with Docker!).

If you like using Mainsail as your print host you will be able to do that with Marlin a lot more easily on the next update. The key is a little connector called Serial2Moon.

Linus Torvalds comes out swinging in favor of AI/SI! 🔥 The creator of Linux calls rules banning AI tools "utterly stupid" and "idiotic", comparing them to banning compilers or text editors because developers should have to prove they can do everything by hand.
His message couldn't be clearer: What matters is understanding your code, not which tools you use to write it. And he goes even further, saying that the intelligent people he respects are precisely those who don't shy away from new and interesting tools. That's a powerful rejection of anti-AI gatekeeping from one of the most influential programmers alive!

There is a cohort of people who love play "Chicken Little". They are typically associated with the left, and their goal is the acquisition of power.
They screamed "No Nukes" when nuclear power was the safest form of power generation ever created. They managed to delay the use of Nuclear power for decades. Now, of course, we really need it.
They screamed "Climate, Climate, Climate" and manage to increase the price of fossil fuels. They seemed oblivious to the fact that those Nukes they blocked would have prevented a lot of CO2 from being dumped into the air.
Now they are screaming "AI will kill us all". And they are having the same effect. They will impede the progress on the one thing that could help us solve all those other problems.
Why? Because they want the power that breeding fear in others gives them.
Should we be cautious with Nukes? Sure. Should we be cautious with the climate? Sure. Should we be cautious with AI? Sure.
But we should not let fear dominate us -- that fear will be our undoing.

Good idea - banks are giving kids loans that they can’t repay, and kids who haven’t been taught financially literacy are taking them.
Then they:
1. End up with a degree that the market won’t pay them for.
2. Have all this student loan debt.
3. Become permanent renters who can’t afford a home and don’t want to start a family.
That’s fertile soil for socialism and radicalism to take root.
Kids need to be taught that a college degree is an investment, and some investments are better financially than others.
This student trap contributing to the economic frustration and the loss of the American dream.
