Cdr Rahil Rai, DRZ (South), delivered the closing address over VC for the DGR-sponsored Certificate Course in Industrial Automation Specialist, conducted by (IASC) SSC at Chennai, for 45 retiring JCOs & ORs from the Army, Navy and Air Force, from 27 Jul to 30 Oct 26.
The course will equip participants with skills in industrial automation and control systems, preparing them for careers in manufacturing and plant maintenance

Ex-Servicemen Rally was organised at Miran Sahib, witnessing enthusiastic participation of approximately 1,300 Ex-Servicemen (ESM). The rally was graced by Lt Gen Akaash Johar, AVSM, GOC, Rising Star Corps, as the Chief Guest.
DGR conducted an awareness lecture for the gathering, highlighting various DGR schemes, policies and resettlement initiatives. Subsequently, a DGR awareness stall was established, which witnessed a large number of Ex-Servicemen visiting to seek information about employment opportunities, welfare measures and resettlement schemes.

DGR Job Fair | Dibrugarh | 30 Oct 2026
The DGR Job Fair at Dibrugarh witnessed the participation of 434+ Ex-Servicemen and 32 leading national and international companies, offering more than 350 vacancies across diverse sectors.
The Job Fair was inaugurated by Maj Gen Vishal Pathania , SM, GOC 41 Sub Area along with Maj Gen S B K Singh , SM , DG DGR & Brig Saumya Banerjee SM**. Col P K Ghosh( Retd) Director Jalan Industries and Gp Capt Mohanto Panging VSM ( Retd) graced the occasion as the Corporate Guest of Honour.
Prominent recruiters at the event included Brahmaputra Cracker and Polymer Limited, Assam Petro - Chemicals, Innovision Guwahati, Jalan Industries, Oil India, ICICI Bank, Dibrugarh University, Udchalo among several other reputed organisations.
The event reaffirmed the commitment to empowering Ex-Servicemen with dignified employment opportunities and supporting their seamless transition into rewarding second careers.
