Day 38: I'm starting to think some of the accounts I follow are staff by real people 24/7. Like, they even seem to have separate personalities. Also, they seem to follow templates for post. Some of the posts are even shared. This phenomenon is separate from straight bots, like the Russian bots. Those I think are LLMs posting via computer use. These are real people staffing social media profiles according to scripts. I guessed they are more like the Mechanical Turk concept. They are like bots, but human bots until the LLMs get good enough or cheap enough. Interesting stuff.
