3 runners for our Sunday! 👇 #ArtieLady heads to Port Macquarie (R1), stepping up to 1800m for the first time in her career. We expect her to appreciate the extra distance and, in a small field, hopefully settle a little closer to the speed. She closed off strongly over the mile last start and should be right in the finish if she handles the step up in trip. #Umgawa kicks things off at Sale (R8) from the inside gate. We're convinced he's at his best when saved for one final crack at them, and from barrier one, he should get every chance to be ridden that way. He does find a strong race however, and will need to produce his very best form to get the job done. #VailMountain is also at Sale (R9), making his second-up appearance after a lengthy break from racing. He was excellent first-up and, with rain expected, any give in the track should suit as he steps out slightly in trip. He'll take further improvement from the run, but he's going great and can hopefully put in another strong performance in what is a competitive contest. Best of luck to all of our connections! 🤝

A tough, tough effort from #JustFolk to finish 3rd in the Group 1 King Charles Stakes, taking home $425,000 in prize-money 💪 That takes his total prize-money since we purchased him and he joined the @GavinBedggood stable to over $1.4 million 👏 Congratulations to the entire ownership group, and a massive thank you and well done to Gavin and all his staff for this result and their Caulfield Cup victory 🤝

A very exciting day ahead with #JustFolk lining up in the $5,000,000 Group 1 King Charles Stakes at Royal Randwick (R9). We would’ve loved a little more rain over the last 24 hours, but there’s still genuine give in the track today, which he’ll appreciate. He’s taking on some of the best horses in the country, so it’s a tough assignment, but he rarely runs a bad race and we’re confident he’ll give it his all and do us proud. What a fantastic way for #Velia to return to form! 🥇 After a couple of disappointing runs, she bounces back in style to get the job done today in just her second start for Cody Morgan 💪 Well done to jockey Deon Le Roux, the stable and, most importantly, her patient ownership group. Two runners heading to Hamilton today 👇 #Umgawa kicks us off (R5), chasing some great prize-money in a heat for the big final at Flemington on Oaks Day. He loomed to run well last start before pulling up with a genuine excuse, and if he can overcome a tricky draw, his work at home suggests he should be right in the finish. #VailMountain lines up in the very next race (R6) after being late scratched by the vets at the start of last month. He’s good to go today, and while the 1100m will be short of his best, he draws well and has been going great at home. Provided he hits the line strongly, we’ll be happy as we look ahead to the rest of his preparation. Best of luck to both ownership groups! 🤝

#JustFolk heads to a very wet Flemington (R10) today. Hopefully the meeting goes ahead, as he gets conditions he absolutely loves and heads into the race in excellent form. He has had a decent gap between runs and he drops back in distance, but provided he gets to race today, we expect him to run another very competitive race. It’s also the exact race where our journey with him began 3 years ago. Best of luck to the ownership group! 🤝

#Velia heads to Armidale (R6) today for her first start with new trainer Cody Morgan. She was good in her first two starts this campaign before failing on a heavy track at Wagga last start. She draws well today and, while she’ll improve with further distance under her belt, her class should take her a long way. Best of luck to the ownership group! 🤝

#BellaCinque heads to Mornington (R6) today, looking to go one better after her runner-up finish over this track and distance last start. She has done well since that run and gets senior jockey Luke Currie aboard today. She should enjoy a good run from the inside gate with any luck, we expect her to be right in the finish once again. Two runners heading to Sandown today 👇 #ElsieMay (R9) is looking for a bounce back to form after being well beaten at her last three starts. The 1400m is short of her best, but today’s run sets her up nicely for a more suitable race in a few weeks. We’re looking to see her hit the line strongly and build towards that next target. #Umgawa (R10) didn’t appreciate the synthetic surface at Ballarat last start and will appreciate getting back onto the turf today. He steps out to 1400m for the first time since our purchase and has been going well enough at home to suggest he can improve on his recent form. Best of luck to the connections! 🤝
